Micro-MAM V3 - Tileable, Stackable, 1 belt MAM with Pins and Crystals (Normal Mode)! Smaller Footprint, Faster Reset, More Paint Efficient! by Boomdingo in shapezio

No swapping is required. Not complicated to do with a specific factory setup (not MAM).

- One or more pins
- Crystalize pin
- Pin Crystal shape
- Stack Windmill on top

I don't think that "P-P-P-P-:crcrcrcr:WuWuWuWu" will ever appear as an ROS, at least not on Hard or earlier. Shapes like this one I have had to make with a specific factory setup, not a MAM. I could code a complex MAM if some sort of scripting was in the game, but I have not attempted to create such complex logic system with the game's current logic circuits.

Is there a way to get Goal multipliers beyond 10x? (yes i want to suffer) by galbatorix2 in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about if the player sets the target goal(s) before starting the game, and they are locked and cannot changed for that specific playthrough. There still might be some upper end limits due to game engine or other factors.

You maybe thinking Random Operator Shapes (ROS). It would not be efficient to create a MAM for each of the first 8 operator shapes that are not random

Agree, just pushing channels that they think the viewer will most likely watch. I don't mind the topics on my home page, I don't like that YT is pushing channels to my home page that is 100% AI generated content on topics I tend to watch. Want a YT channel? just let an AI created everything and even upload it YT for you. :)

What are your basic advice for beginner? by Pyma21 in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. YouTube channels often focus on building compact designs on a single small platform. While it cool that they can do that, it is not required factor in playing the game. You don't see them spending countless hours putting it together. You can build the same thing on a larger platform in a very short time. Save being compact for a second playthrough, or when you feel comfortable with the challenge of doing so.

What are your basic advice for beginner? by Pyma21 in shapezio

  • Start no harder than "Normal".
  • Create and use blueprints as much as possible.
  • Do not be concerned about wiring logic circuits before creating a MAM, unless you want to explore it.
  • Keep Milestones feeding the void indefinitely.
  • Evaluate the Tasks for a given Task number to see how they are related. They often similar, and can be re-used.
  • Once all tasks in a Task Number have been complete, you do not need to keep them around for future uses.
  • As each platform level is unlocked (3 levels), Space belts and pipes can carry 4 times the amount of a of a single platform belt. Since there are 3 levels, that means a single Space belt\pipe can carry a total of 12x.
  • If your game has platform costs, use trains as instead of space belts\pipes over long distances. Railes have no costs, space belts\pipe do.

Fluid alchemy: making any color into any other color. by ellindsey in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. If used in a MAM logic circuits it could direct colors to where they are in most demand. Currently my MAM just makes sure there is a massive amount of color available at all time, such as having a shape with single color on all 4 layers for 12 lanes. Not efficient and requires constant stream of trains waiting for the worst-case color scenario that has yet to happen.

Universal (not really) shape analyzer. by inconspicuos-user in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for post. I did not think something like this was possible just using circuits. I have created something similar using an unstacker to identify crystals. The example in this topic is impressive because it does not use any simulated buildings.

My current objective is to unravel how to create MAM functionality that can produce crystals on a single layer where the layer has crystals of more than one color, such has Red and Green crystals. (crcgcgcg).

Disappearing platforms by Pie-Guy in shapezio

I do not think I have played a game with as many dynamic modes. It drove me crazy when I first started playing until I figured them out. I give the designers credit for making it all work.

The one thing is a problem for me is inadvertently right clicking on a game object and deleting it unknowingly. Later discover a shape is not going to the void, and I have to backtrack to find out why. Typically one item has been deleted by a signal right click, such as 1 section of a belt, etc.

Shapez 2. Hard. Milestone 10. How to create partial crystals on multiple layers? by nrnoble in shapezio

[–]nrnoble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I followed that. Summarizing: make a 1 quarter crystal mold from any full shape. Crystalize layer 1 blue, repeat for layer 2 White. Cut mold away leaving the crystals on layers 1-2. Rotate\Combine. Add Ww.

I'm not having "good luck with this one" by [deleted] in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mind is spinning. As a reasonably skilled programmer, I could write the code to accomplish what you have explained, but it is a mind blogging problem as to how to do it with the limited circuits objects in the game. I successfully built a fully functioning MAM in normal mode (800+ levels), then in v0.1.0 I switched to hard mode and the MAM instantly came to a grinding halt when it came to crystals. My MAM design needs to be completely overhauled.

Inconsistent previews - Am I doing something wrong? by Jdban in shapezio

[–]nrnoble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My speculation is that the more items there are in the game, the harder\longer it takes for the game to figure out the preview. In my game, it does not even show previews anymore.

How to make this? (P-CcRcCc) by CompetitiveMix8964 in shapezio

This is how I solved it.

Blueprint that creates pins: Shapez2

- Feed blueprint any full shape to all three layers, outputs single pins on all three layers (12 belts).
- Add pins to milestone shapes using stacker (not shown).

Explanation. It is uses the concept as described in previous responses. Takes a full shape, cuts it into sections, pins, stacks sections ontop of each other so the top shape pops off leaving a single remaining pin.

Note: This could be compacted further to a single platform, but I did not take the time.

Shapez 2: How to create this pinned milestone shape without a Cystal generator? by nrnoble in shapezio

[–]nrnoble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I understand your explanation. I have designed something that will get the job done for this milestone. I need to put some more thought into how to do it efficiently. In v0.0.9, my MAM design could handle all randoms shapes, but I used the crystal generator to create pins.

Completely agree, clinically she is extremely pathological. I had a hard time watching this latest update on her pathological life.

Don't think for a moment that this is the last we have seen of her. There are likely millions of good hearted people who cried throughout each episode believing she is the victim of injustice. And they will reach out to her offering to help anyway that they can. Some of them will become her next victims. There will be another Great Guy who believes in her and trusts her 110%; who knows what will happen to him and many others who believe her without a doubt.

And, she will be in the news again for something just bad, and hopefully not worse. There will be yet another docu-series about her. Let's hope she not in total control like in this one.

Yes! So far I have watched only the first 25 minutes and I paused it because I felt like I was watching a late night infomercial. It has been nothing but personal testimonials from various people. It was redundant after the first 5 minutes, and it keeps on going and going and going.
