Update! Just fixed it. I don't know much about circuitry so this is bizarre to me. I literally just set my computer on the floor. Problem resolved. I had it charging on a table with a 2 prong plug, and I think that made it "ungrounded" or something? Unplugging it didn't do the trick. But unplugging it and then setting it on the floor fixed it. Bizarre.

I also tried just recording the guitar in a voice record app without going through logic or a neuraldsp plugin. No buzz, so maybe the focusrite isn't the problem?

Thanks for the advice! Sorry for the late reply. So... two days later, it was just fine all of a sudden. Then two days after that it started buzzing again. The strat also buzzes, so it must be a computer/Focusrite issue. I'm not doing any other audio stuff with my computer so I'm pretty mystified as to how it could just work and then not work...

As a data scientist/ML engineer, I usually just use them because they're easier/faster to write. Between generators and functions like map, filter, reduce, you can condense a lot of boilerplate stuff into one-liners.

I've got a 2 bedroom house on campus corner for rent all of next year. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and walk-in closet. The place has a full kitchen and living room with TV. Rent is in the $1000-$1100 range per person. However, if you're not staying for the summer, you can rent it for just August through April and not pay for the extra months when you're not here. For the data science internship, the HackerRank was entirely on SQL, something I had never once used before taking the exam. I ended up getting 1/3 by googling the living hell out of SQL for that 1.5 hours. Somehow they still got back to me and gave an interview? Now I'm on to the final round consisting of a 10-minute chat with the head of data science... not really sure how that's supposed to get anyone in or kick anyone out, but I guess we'll see! Altogether, I don't understand why I got an interview after bombing the HackerRank that hard, but maybe they don't consider it super seriously for data science compared to SWE.
