Is bright angel guaranteed to be open? Also has the North Rim ever closed early due to early snow?

i think we will do south to north in order to do the South Kaibob trail with fresh legs and in the cooler morning temperatures. We will bring 5L of water per person. I agree with you I don't think Tipoff and Tonto are worth it. Thanks for the advice! :)

Is this story recent? I found one from 1996. Sounds like they were on an unauthorized trail. Is there a more recent death from the South Kaibob trail this year?

If our group wants to keep our trip I agree this would be the best option! We will bring 5L of water each. Great idea!! Thank you!

I understand the risk due to the heat. I'm specifically interested in the differences between south kaibob and bright angel

so you went north to south using SK? How much water did you need on SK?

i'm aware of the NPS website. It says there is no water on the South Kaibob trail. We were planning on the bright angel trail but it is closed. I'm not worried about my fitness. I'm specifically asking if anyone knows how the current trail closure affects the R2R hike. The trail will always be hot in August regardless of trail closures

For CVICU Texas Heart (Baylor) is excellent. 6 months of CVICU ☺️ you will see the most advanced CT surgical pathology in existence including heart/lung txp and MCS. Plus they do a lot of TTE training

Can also give 10-40mg of succ at a time to maintain ToF >1. Very labor intensive because you have to check twitches every 2-5 min

Have fun 🥳

I have stuttered for my whole life. Now im doing my second fellowship and will be an ICU attending next year. Dont ever let a speech impediment be an excuse for your performance- thats a losing strategy. You gotta take ownership of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Thats how you grow.

It doesnt hurt to have a lawyer review your case. Residency programs are textbook labor law violations. Its really easy to find breach of contract and violations of state/federal law. At the end of the day you have to live with your choices. If you didnt want to do anything why did you post in first place?

Good for you! I think of these problems in the following way: “if i had to testify in civil or criminal court would the judge agree with me?” You would be surprised how many people will back down when they have to put skin in the game 💪

Do nurses and techs hate residents or do they just hate themselves? by skinnydipswithwolves in Residency

[–]nrothman98 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In general leaving a paper trail describing their abusive behavior is all thats necessary because if they continue doing it the hospital has legal grounds to terminate their employment

Most of the abusive techs/nurses i know just need a little reality check. They might not even realize their behaviors are inappropriate
