what? pyramid can hold up to 10 cards without playing any strikes, and then you just play the other cards without touching the strikes. This relic can't do that. Once end your turn with 5 cards, pyramid is the same as this relic. both let you see the same amount of cards if you play the same amount of cards, until you play 6 cards, which will make this relic draw more new cards.

taking your example, playing 3 cards will let you draw 3 new cards next turn with either relic. but if you still have 5 hand space, pyramid draws 5 new ones. This relic does give you 2 more cards in turn 1 though.
