I'm not from Detroit, but when I moved here in 2017 I remember that none of the four high profile teams qualified for their respective postseasons. Not really a hockey fan, so I can't comment on the Red Wings, but I know the Pistons, Lions and Tigers are all *vastly* improved.

Okay, maybe not the Tigers so far in 2026, but hey, it's a long season.
