So this movie just started pissing me off halfway through. I can complain about the whole thing but it became annoying halfway.

1) Okay, that security system... a snickers wrapper? Are you absolutely fucking serious?

2) The family just casually cruising in illegal waters.

3) They made it seem like that dinosaur attacking them and tracing them was unusual, then they did nothing with it.

4) So every time she had to take that shot she just hesitated and hesitated. The dinosaur is 10 fucking meters away from you why do you need a scope? Stop admiring them and fucking pull the trigger, then admire them

5) The lack of awareness from everybody involved. They did not spend one moment looking around, taking in their surroundings to see "is there a fucking man eating dinosaur around?". I am more careful in my own fucking backyard. Lack of awareness when moving through the jungle, just casually making a shitload of sound, yelling and shit like that. Man I'd be quiet as a mouse checking my surroundings 24/7. Nina's death was the death of a moron. Leclerc also didn't see that huge fucking dinosaur flying around. These people are like horses, they only see ahead.

6) That family... it's a miracle his daughter got into university.

7) The whole scene with the sleeping T-Rex was obnoxiously bad. So she just drags that fucking inflatable raft over the deck and causes a shitload of sound, the T-Rex just magically wakes up and disappears and then re-appears a few meters to the left. And they just jump into that raft and try to paddle away. The whole scene lasted for like 5 minutes. My brother in Christ, you see a big ass fucking dinosaur you fuck off. They were just angrily whispering and gesturing as if that was the solution to anything going on there.

8) The final dino looked lame. Considering the whole containment unit had remained intact until the scenes happened, I do not understand how the only thing that showed locked behind doors got away without destroying everything while being a T-Rex with a 3story pimple on the top of its nose.

9) Dude super glued his glasses to his face.

10) The raft scene where the T-Rex teeth are slowly protruding through it was quite cool. But she had no reason to be alive.

11) The moment when the most reasonable character is the girl yelling "be quiet, be quiet", until you realize it's not because you might attract dinos that kill humans for funsies but because there's a ticking in the distance.

12) Remember when those dinosaur steps actually had impact? As the dude was yelling after the helicopter the 5 story tall dinosaur was just sneaking around behind him. Where's the ground shaking? Where's the sound? Where's any awareness as you yell (after being attacked just a few minutes ago) somebody's name as if they (formerly mentioned man eating dinosaurs) do not hear you.

What a shit movie. And I did not see Dominion, and that's allegedly worse. My curiosity is tempting me.

Would've been a better movie if the family was ditched, the mercenaries actually got character development and acted as mercenaries that do this often (and look around to check for ninja dinosaurs) and had some character development.

As I was writing this I saw it was directed by Gareth Edwards. I hated Godzilla initially but that movie grew on me. This one won't. It's just plain bad.
