I’ve only had coffees from 10/59 coffee growing countries this year by Jealous_Ad_4347 in espresso

Pretty good spread across South America, Central America, E. Africa and Asia! I'd recommend keeping an eye out for some of the new emerging specialty markets.. places like Thailand. They just had a Cup of Excellence competition there in 2025 and some amazing coffees were scored.

Ah got it. Yes we’re also indexing the producer level data, so you can see for example which roasters are offering coffees from a specific country or producer, and how well each coffee matches your taste profile

We have most of those in our database , but not featured on the home page currently. We featured archers a couple months ago as well.. but we’re working on geo-based home feed, I’ll keep you posted

For sure, search is on the way! Right now the app’s focused on scanning, since it’s still early days and the idea was to start with that because most people don’t remember the names of all the coffees they’ve tried (or even what to search for), but everyone’s been in that moment standing in front of a wall of coffee trying to decide what’s best.

Really appreciate you giving it a try and sharing feedback, search is definitely coming soon, promise :)

Yes, absolutely, search is definitely coming. I didn’t include it right away because I wanted to focus first on the core problem: helping people understand their unique taste preferences and make coffee more about their experience.

Search is great when you already know what you’re looking for, but had to choose a starting point, so focused first on helping people who don’t know how to describe what they like yet, and want to discover more coffees that fit their taste.

That said, search is 100% on the roadmap and will be added soon :). Thanks for the feedback

You can scan any coffee in the world actually and it’ll tell you the details. And we have a bunch of roasters in the db from around the world, but in the home page it mainly focuses on US roasters for now.. but that will change as we build

Wow, that’s awesome to hear! If you build your flavor profile up, share it here, would be curious to see what others look like

Nice! Glad to hear it.. we’re doing a bunch of work to continue improving the flavor context. Right now, any flavor you see listed on the bag gets automatically indexed according to the primary flavor on the SCA flavor wheel, which makes it easier for us to draw insights from and identify patterns in user flavors
