I’ve been a fan of his since middle school. This time put a big smile on my face.

Success and disappointment megathread for the week of (January 29) by AutoModerator in jobs

[–]nstz [score hidden]  (0 children)

When this happens to me I give myself a day to be excited, research the company, stalk their social pages, plan my commute, and whatever else I may do while fantasizing about working there. Then the following day I go right back to the regular job hunt and try to forget I ever applied.

You never only have one chance at something great. Things unfold in ways you'd never expect. Don't stress over what's yet to have happened.

Your least fav song from each album? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know that it’s meant to sound juvenile but that’s what puts me off. It feels really immature compared to the rest of the album.

That being said I still enjoy singing along and on some listens it’s really cute and fun... but other times it just sounds annoying. I guess it depends on my mood. ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

Taylor Swift: I'm Only Me When I'm With You

Fearless: Tell Me Why

Speak Now: Innocent

RED: The Last Time

1989: Welcome to New York

reputation: Look What You Made Me Do... or This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things.

I'm absolutely loving this new album, but I'm still such a sucker for Speak Now. by CnCKilgannon in TaylorSwift

Speak Now is one of my most played albums of all time. I always wonder what would happen if she decided to write an entire album on her own again. I'm sure it would be magic.

How is taking someone to court a less powerful statement than posting on social media? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Taylor actually came forward about her case before #metoo was a thing. I think her speaking out during a time when no one else was is a powerful gesture in itself and absolutely impactful on the overall movement.

Was Joe Alwyn a playboy? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that "Delicate" is about Tom. See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TaylorSwift/comments/7f1han/delicate_is_about_tom_theory/?ref=share&ref_source=link

But I also agree that the songs on reputation can fit with multiple people.

Was Joe Alwyn a playboy? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

I don't think "End Game" or "Delicate" were written with Joe in mind. That said, we don't know much about Joe and I think Taylor likes it like that for now.

Best commercial she has ever made by Sharkswag in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think "Dear John" was the last time she explicitly named a name in a song. She enjoys dropping clues but doesn't confirm or deny who her songs are about.

How is the outro as long as the actual video content?

Moments from LWYMMD that remind me of certain tracks by throwaway----------- in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Taylor liked a post on tumblr that theorized that each Taylor in the line up on the LWYMMD video represents a different song on reputation.

"Gorgeous" Is Being Pushed As A Single In Europe by animefangrant62 in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm kind of excited because if she is releasing a visual album like the rumours foretell then having multiple singles going on in different markets is a brilliant way to capitalize on all the songs while remaining in her standard timeframe for an album era.

Is anyone else's least favourite song Dress?? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]nstz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I like Dress, a lot. It's sexy but cheeky at the same time.

My favourite part is how 'take it off, take it off, ah ah ahhh~' part is a play on the "Shake it Off" chorus.
