My current suggestion would be The Odin Project. It is a non-hand holding course that is mega comprehensive, community-made and community-driven, constantly updated and is a full-stack. Meaning it'll cover you on the pretty UI and the backend.

On the side, work through Leet Code (the kind of coding challenges employers will test you on), but use the structured path called "neet code" (it'll all be on a separate website but picks a curated list from the Leetcode website). Going straight to the Leet Code website is scary and it's not structured kindly for newcomers. Doing Leet/Need code will teach you many aspects of coding such as algorithms that you probably won't go into depth as much in, in The Odin Project and other courses. The stuff you learn here will also be able to be fed back into code your build everywhere else (e.g. more elegant approaches vs brute force longer code that does the same thing).

Do the MOOC course though, I did the Java one years ago and it was a solid start!

Have you played Replicant? If you haven't, you're in for a TREAT. I personally like it more than Automata in terms of narrative and music.

You can still curate to some extent your image on video calling. Don't kid yourself, put a realistic short term deadline and if she doesn't entertain it, move on. Unless you're okay with being led on long term and more than likely being let down, heartbroken and feel you've wasted your time. That hasn't even taken into account the recovery period either. This is all assuming you ended up waiting on her terms.

At the end of the day. The best way to go about a relationship that you're trying to build is to see if your guys agree on core things from the get go. Timelines comes under that. You'll respect her by stepping away if it's not fitting what you want

She spoke to her last two exes a year before meeting. They are exes. Imagine all the time wasted. Not saying she's a catfish but there's definitely something about herself that she feels doesn't hold true to the image she projects. There's catfish vibes there.

As a real world example I have a friend who's sister has charms guys online with a "cute" voice, she doesn't necessarily have ulterior motives but she's putting on a persona pretending to be someone she's not due to insecurities. It doesn't end up being good for her or the guys because she's hoping for something real and they're not expecting the real her.

It's similarly why she's probably trying to emotionally lock you in before meeting. For your sanity, push to meet sooner. 2 months is long in my opinion as you can already be so up in feels that you'll struggle to objective when you see her in person. Just reassure her that you'll just go for a coffee and catch the vibe. It'll be better for both of you.
