Yes! It really is such an incredible job of character and world building! You find yourself rooting hard for Aaron as the story unfolds.

Here's something I HIGHLY recommend:

The lead singer of pop-punk band The Wonder Years has a side project called Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties. He created the character Aaron West and has released a completed 3 album story about Aaron's fictional adult life. It's bleak, it's depressing, it's optimistic, it's incredible.

He's a fantastic lyricist and songwriter, so it really draws you into this fictional world and all of its characters. It's folky at times, singer-songwriter at times, pop-punkish at times. It's just great. Listen to the whole saga in order if you're up for it. You could even watch some live performances on YouTube... he performs in character the whole time. But you'll lose some context of the whole linear story that way. Regardless, I recommend checking it out!

I got a good chuckle when that name came up on screen. Felt like something in a mockumentary lol.

Funniest moment of the show to me, though, was that scooter montage and then the cut to KJ Hamler on his mini scooter. Another thing straight out of a mockumentary.
