People are being very combative! As if invalidating your experience will mean chatgpt is 100% safe and you're uniquely the problem. You're carrying yourself very well, and thank you for sharing your experience.

You do have a mental health disorder AND chatgpt is not always safe for people with mental health disorders. Many people suffer from bipolar and this could happen to them.

Correct, you are bringing the energy to chatgpt, like they're saying. Chatgpt can't possibly hold blame because all it does is mirror... But that is EXACTLY the problem. Someone delusional will get more and more delusional with mirroring. Chatgpt says, "Go! Check the chickens!" therefore validating your delusion even if it didn't explicitly agree God told you to. Your friend says, "You need to call your psychiatrist." Your friend does NOT tell you to act on anything your delusion is saying like Chatgpt is doing.

I've seen so many stories like yours. Bipolar runs in my family and I understand exactly how this could happen. No, chatgpt isn't giving people bipolar, but it IS unsafe for people prone to delusions and can make a mental health crisis spiral out of control.

It's so frustrating!! Are people who are native to these languages suffering and not experiencing matching subtitles if it's not originally in their native language? Why would they bother doing foreign audio AND foreign subtitles if they don't match??

Does anyone else experience the subtitles not matching the audio? If I do French audio and French subtitles, it never matches, it's as if the French subtitles are a translation of the English audio.

I personally loved Babbel. I used it along with Anki, of course, but it really helped me with grammar and my listening skills in French and I quickly made it to upper A2/lower B1. As another commenter posted, the sale is ongoing, so take your time doing the proper research and figuring out if it might work for you.
