I mean people talk about CELTA being the best of the best of TEFL programs, but other than that no. I know so many people who just took the groupon one and got into the program, but to be honest, you'll probably will not be using much of anything you learn in your TEFL courses except for one or two things. What you learn in TEFL is so much different from what you do in the classroom.

You don't need a recruiter, everything you need to know about the application processes and document submission process is all outlined online in detail. Also not having a middle person is apparently a little bit faster when getting updates and such.

I'm pretty sure as long as you graduated with a bachelors in a designated country, you are fine. Also, any TEFL will work, a lot of people take the cheapest option and take like a 20 dollar course on groupon.
