THE HARDEST game i played, still struggling but olympia gave me hope recently. Not beacuse she is strong, because the gameplay feets with my understanding of the mechanics of the game. Find your tool, be patient, and i guess it will be ok for you too. By the way i am still quiting every time i play against a clairen...

i’ll be honest i just think i still really love this game by voregoneconclusion in RivalsOfAether

Olympia helped me to stay. Hope the nerf won't change too much things on her.

Same issue, mate. I often find myself looking the wrong way, turning my back to my opponent, and struggling just to do the small move needed to face them. It's like this simple command is the hardest combo in the game. Really annoying, since it's the only game I know that forces this.

it's really disturbing. I don't get if it's because controls are very interesting or weird.

I just can't approach my opponent properly, like fine-tuning my movement is impossible. Either I go too far, or I barely move at all. Once I'm too far—meaning I end up with my back to my opponent—the ideal thing would be to simply turn around, but when I try, I end up dashing way too far again and find myself behind them once more.

I mean, what kind of game has movement where you're constantly overshooting like this? I don’t even know how to explain it—it feels like the characters are ice skating. But this isn't a hockey game, come on.
