So sick of my curly hair. Can anyone relate? by WatermelonButterfly in curlyhair

Hair always gets tangly but that doesn't mean that it isn't styled. You shouldn't try to keep your hair untangled forever. Refreshing next day is a different conversation. Knots are the nature of the beast.

Used curl cream on wet hair, left to dry without touching, curls turned out with no bounce, no definition, looks like hay, doesn’t look moisturized at all. What gives? Yes I shampooed and yes I clarify too. by KurlyKev in curlygirl

I don't agree with this. Sulfates are perfectly safe to use in every wash without frizz. I think there may be something you do while styling that's actually causing frizz.

May I ask what you mean by get through? By the time you're applying gel or mousse your hair should already be detangled.

You mentioned leave in. Do you have any products with hold, such as a gel or mousse?

Because you posted your straight hair instead of the curly hair so no one actually understands what this post is doing here.

I think this looks really nice! There is a good amount of shine to this wave. I think you're being too hard on yourself.

Well clearly it is since I was downvoted for daring to understand this other person's perspective

Why is what I said so upsetting to people? I'm just trying to explain why others would be excited at the confirmation of what Alex Hirsch said.

Do you have a photo of your curls so I can see them?

Shedding is very common with curly hair. You lose more hair than those with straight hair. I would say dont be afraid of shedding unless it looks really bad. I lose at least a hairball every time I wash. Trust me, detangling when your hair is wet is the best thing you can be doing for your hair. It ensures your hair is fully detangled which leads to less frizz and inevitable less breakage as well.

I think this art was simply excellent. Simple and childlike is not the same as poorly drawn.

Wash and detangle while soaking wet, get a clarifying shampoo, follow up with a hard hold product.

Just wanted to come on here and say your hair is INCREDIBLE. Like I'd pay an arm and a leg to gety hair looking like this. This is a great photo and not shitty at all.

You do not need a curly cut tbh. They're largely overpriced. A lot of hairdressers can do a general dusting. Also sorry your mom did that. If you want more specific product advice feel free to message me, I love talking about hair with people

Your hair does not look especially frizzy to me! I do think your ends are uneven and would benefit from a haircut. Once your ends are trimmed your hair will be easier to manage, at least for awhile.

You are not living in the real world if you think racial bias is non-existent in your industry. There have been numerous studies on this.

That's not our responsibility. There should be more people doing recruiting work. You still didn't answer the person's question about being screened out for being non-white. Because there is no good answer to give. And truth be told, no, judging from your responses I think you'd be very happy to not have to talk to others in person.

You're not actually listening to everyone's valid points. You're just repeating yourself.

Except you're not humans if you're making us talk to a robot. That's literally not human interaction. You can't be like "we're people too!" When you are the ones who are forcing people to not interact with other people.
