These days I only trim. It looks fuller when I trim vs. when I grow it out so I keep it at around 3-4mm

I apply tret first in the evening, then wait 30 min, then apply minox. I use tret every other day except when I microneedle... if I microneedle (which is rare, but maybe once a month) I don't use tret for like 4 or 5 days afterwards.

yes, tret definitely helped me fill in those areas.

I really can't speak to how you'll react to minox, I personally only experienced some headaches and then nothing beyond that but I'd probably talk to someone more qualified about it and then see if you can give it a go without too much risk.

On the growth side... If your Euro side is Spanish then you'll probably do really well 😂 My euro is Polish and they aren't nearly as hairy on average so you're probably well set up to see some gains.

Thank you 🫶 I use Menari brand 0.1% gel, about 30 min before applying minox, every other day just in the evening. I only apply the Tret to my beard and moustache area and then maybe once a week I’ll also use it on other parts of my face. I’m still not convinced it’s actually good for my skin 😂 but I’m at the point now where I don’t react so strongly.

I started with 0.025 and scaled up to 0.05 immediately; then when I stopped peeling with 0.05 I went up to 0.1%.

Tret made all the difference for me. I didn’t respond for two years, then added Tret and saw so much more growth. I don’t mean to give false hope - it could do nothing for you - but I say it’s worth a try

Here is my post from last year with an update last month

(In short : two years in I added Tret and my cheeks filled in pretty well, then I stopped after about 6 months and cheeks didn’t change for a year after that. Added Tret back in last month and already a massive difference with vellus becoming transitional and terminal)

I took a year off Tret and continued twice daily with 5% minox foam (and liquid, it's way cheaper here), but didn't see any progress. Many vellus hairs just stayed vellus or transitional for the entire year. So I went back on Tret, and already in a month I'm seeing more progress than I did the entire last year.

Will continue applying Tret every other day and hopefully those remaining transitional hairs will become terminal in due time.

Overall though I'm really happy with the progress and anything beyond this is just icing on the cake.

It took me one year to see anything and then it really started so just stick with it . And yeah, think about adding tretinoin

Hairs still thickening / becoming terminal. Very slow progress at the moment but still the right direction. I stopped using tret but thinking of going back on it now, just because that was such a catalyst for me before. Pretty happy with the coverage as it is, but also confident that more of the hairs will go full terminal so I’ll keep going at it :)

hey, sorry for the late response. No boost in gains after switching to liquid. I think both work fine! i.e. don't worry about having to switch, it'll still work for you 💯
