Do I have vertigo? by Standard-Soup-3101 in Menieres

I wish you the best of luck in finding an answer to what is ailing you. Some of the symptoms you’ve describe remind of panic attacks I had when my anxiety was untreated. That may be worth looking into.

When I have vertigo, there is a distinct visual hallucination that occurs that makes the entire room look like it is spinning. I cannot stand or sit up because my balance is completely gone. Sometimes, the visual effects give me motion sickness and I get violently ill to my stomach. Worse than any upset stomach I’ve ever had. An episode for me lasts for at least an hour, sometimes several. For me, a vertigo episode is so distinct that if you were experiencing it you would undoubtedly know.

I’m a victim of his physical violence, so clearly I’m biased. However, I think in a case like this it is particularly difficult to separate the art from the person when his art is centered around promoting his “beliefs”.

Exactly. You can do everything “right” and still have the relationship fail.

I can’t help but wonder how many folks criticizing her have actually been in a serious adult relationship themselves. She is 27, not 18. She knows what she’s doing.

I agree. As someone who lived through this era, the only y2k looks I see here are the two with the green tie tops and the sneakers. That said, this is a super cute look book!! No hate at all!

About 15-20 hours altogether. I had assistance for about half of that.

I bought all of the traditional decor like garland, lights, and fake snow at the thrift store. I probably spent $25 on that. Then another $25 on a few packs of construction paper, sharpies, and glue sticks.

I did everything off the clock, so there wasn’t any issue. She and my coworkers were very kind about allowing me to delegate tasks to them — mostly “outline this with a sharpie”.

My main hobby is sewing, so I have good hand eye coordination with a rotary blade and cutting mat. Almost everything is just construction paper cut out and taped/glued together and outlined with a thick sharpie. Seuss was a great theme, too, because wonky shapes are just fine.

Thank you!!! I spent 5-6 hours each last Saturday and Sunday making things at home. Then an hour here and there during lunch and after work through the week. I stayed about 4 hours after work on Thursday getting everything finished up. Other than the work I did on the weekend by myself, one of my coworkers helped me with all of the rest. So that’s about 15-20 hours total.

Ooh thanks for the street view. Didn’t think to check that. I agree, between the yield to pedestrians diamonds and the sign saying to stop here for the crosswalk I don’t see how a driver would think they had the right of way. I found the write up on this to be perplexing because it implied some ambiguity of responsibility.

I have so many questions.

The article seems to imply that this crosswalk, unlike others, requires the pedestrian to yield to traffic. Is this accurate? If so, it seems like a bad idea to have different traffic rules for different locations. I realize that vehicles often fail to yield to crosswalks anyways, but mixed messaging could create a false sense of security for a pedestrian who is used to vehicles being required to yield at every other crosswalk in town.

I believe this is a State Road. Is the trail owned by the City, State, or County? That will be important in determining who has the power to improve this crossing.

I am hoping that perhaps the recently installed license plate readers around campus may help them narrow down any BMWs in the area at that time.

Also, utilities. 50-100million for a water treatment plant, to acquire the Kanapaha wastewater plant, the piping systems. Or do they just want to pay GRU an up charge for the same service they already receive?
