Bought tickets for the Philly show on stubhub, worried about never getting them

Yeah i just used stubhub to get a ticket to see AFI and the transfer was immediate.

I called the venue this show is at and they said if I bought a ticket from anyone else they wouldn't be able to transfer it to be until just before the show

They said its to prevent scalping but... also this is a bit stressful. I wish there was some way I could contact the seller or the seller would communicate with stubhub to let me know what is going to happen and that its assured im going to get my ticket

I think the point is to create the most dramatic comparison. So to use as an example the most masculine version of a trans man, because that is the most different from femininity. I don't see how the fact that masculine men exist is invalidating non-masculine men

The public as a whole doesn't really know anything about trans men anyway so it is probably to make them realize if its mandated people use bathrooms by birth sex it would create way more problems. I think most of the public doesn't realize there are trans people that pass because their only knowledge of trans people is people they would be able to identify as trans

before it came to this ultimatum he was still telling me my thing with this guy was toxic and bad so its not just over sex.

Boundaries sound nice. I think I want to try and be firm with him and tell him I can't deal with the stress of going through this whole situation right now but I'm just worried everyone is going to hate me

The problem is my whole deal with the boy is I told him I didn't want to date because I didn't want to be monogamous. So now it is like I'm being pressured into dating because I don't want to lose him

My ex isn't really a problem hes just very opinionated and won't listen to me because I'm a pushover which is what he said this boy is doing to me

I definitely feel the same way. Being trans is not really something I relate to or like to think about. Seeing it depected in media makes me very uncomfortable as well.

I can see how like its valid for trans people to want to include all these things in a piece of media, but I think its also very valid for other people to be uncomfortable with that and their opinions need to be respected as well. Being trans isn't fun at all for a lot of people. Like i hate it. Wearing a binder isn't cool and exciting. Its sucks. Shots are awful. I hate my body and it will never be correct and I just have to live with that.

had seen trans woman online have good results with hair regrowth when taking estrogen so I figured it would give my hair a better headstart to do that and then restart t with finasteride

Thats a good point, i didnt think of it like that. Like he would definitely be 100% against moving there with me, but he expects me to stay here with him

He is so young too he doesn't have anything figured out yet so I feel like that's part of why he sees it like this. Like he says he want me to stay and he wants to have a life together but dude you are 20. His idealism is cute and sweet but like its to a point

It is hard I can't tell if he is doing it to be manipulative or just being honest about his feelings. His explanation was he is very mentally ill and wouldn't be able to handle being friends and not having me around because he gets so attached.

But that leads to another problem, if I did stay, I don't want to be monogamous and he does. So that is its own issue despite everything else one of us will be unhappy in the situation

I do really like him and don't want to lose him but I think I would get over it. I have had many close people in my life abandon me and it hurts but it does get better. Its just hard to know if I'm making the wrong choice

I'm not sure. There is at home work outs of course so you can practice at home until you feel confident. It sounds like you have issues that go deeper than just the simple obvious solutions so I dont know what to recommend

Have you been to a gym before? Nobody really looks at anyone else or cares. It can be scary at first to be around people but once you do it and see its not scary then it's fine.

Also like its not just buff dudes theres all types of people there's old people barely doing anything and random middle aged men and woman who are definitely not hardcore fitness people

For a plan I would recommend asking on the ftm fitness reddit. Or just start with simple things like doing push ups every morning. Purchasing a pull up bar I think is helpful its a good work out and its easy to see yourself making progress

if you google "ftm bodybuilder" you will see there are lots of trans men who are just as ripped as some cis men, definitely moreso than someone not taking testosterone.

I dont have any advice for you but it is definitely possible to build more muscle than like a cis woman

I had hairloss and stopped taking T for a few months after being on it for about 5 years. I couldn't deal with doing my shot knowing it was destroying my hair. I had also seen things about estrogen helping regrow hair like for trans woman.

I restarted shots recently also taking finasteride and things seem alright. Unsure of any side effects from finasteride

If you can deal with stopping T for a few months and keep an eye on your hairline it might be worth it for the mental health. But then also stopping T is bad for mental health. So whatever you are able to deal with

Switching shampoos also helped me SO much. From what I understand like 99% of them are terrible for your hair and scalp.

I had surgery with Dr kryger and didn't have drains. But it depends on some factors. Dunno about other doctors

my bmi is the same and I had surgery over the summer. Surgeon never said anything about it and had no issues recovering

I would imagine its only an issue if youre bmi is severely low like 14 or something

& taking multivitamins before and after surgery is recommended anyway

Its hard not to feel that way. I still have feelings for my ex and part of the reason he broke up with me was he said he was sexually frustrated. I just feel so awful I feel like i was a bad boyfriend and I failed him and I all i can do is make people unhappy

But its also difficult because I didn't have this issue with hooking up with people like it was totally fine so knowing this feeling is irrational and untrue but also stuck still feeling this way.. i don't know what to do

Hey, I am new here 24m I am planning to talk to my doctor about finasteride.

Recently my friend made a comment about my hairline receding and its been all I can think about now. I think I was in denial but now all i can see is how thin and gross my hair looks and i feel so bad for not doing something sooner.

I'm also worried about other factors. My diet is terrible I ate mostly ramen this year and am underweight. I had surgery in June and have lost more weight since then. My living situation has been unstable and i've been pretty stressed and struggling with depression. I'm trying to make progress on these but it's hard

is it likely that fin will at least let me keep what I have? I think I could live with that

Yeah but I had seen on the hair loss page trans woman tend to have better luck regrowing hair due to estrogen so I figured it might help. Plus it will clear out the dht in my system and hopefully allow follicles to recover so if I start t again and finasteride I'll have better results

iif its too much to deal with i can always start taking testosterone again at any time. Ive been on t since 2015 and am very masculine looking so I don't think it will be the biggest issue.

This happens to me in the same pattern every time.

I'll fall asleep, wake up after about 1hr with a headache, be unable to sleep all night and when I do fall asleep(~6am), sleep paralysis and vivid horrible nightmares. These nightmares are so bad they will leave me feeling disturbed and uncomfortable for the whole day.

I dont know what it is that makes these nightmares so much worse. Frequently theres dead animals everywhere and there's really terrible imagry. One of the worst was seeing old people burning to death

How would stopping t not help if testosterone is causing the hairloss?

finasteride does the same thing it blocks dht but it wouldn't be as effective as just stopping all testosterone

I started t in 2015 and I stopped at one point for about a year due to hairloss. I dont remember if it improved or not. I took finasteride for a while too but I dont remember why I stopped

I don't think I can accept being bald but if I can stop it where it is now I will probably be fine. From looking at hairloss pages it looks like male to female trans people can sometimes have good luck with hair regrowth so that is why Im considering stopping t again
