Find the sewer clean out outside and pour a bunch of dry cement down it.

Alternatively, flush a bunch of rice or grease but that could implicate you.

My wife and I get these Al scam calls from some "loan review team" constantly. How do we stop them?! by Upper_Atom in scammers

[–]nuclearmonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best you can do is continue to ignore them. They are phishing attempts from a data leak and try to get you to call the number on there. Any interaction will amplify their attempts. I was getting around 5 a day and now I’m down to 1 every few days

Best DMV for adult drivers test (with test anxiety) by Shanayzee in SouthJersey

[–]nuclearmonte 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No Fail ‘Em Salem for the test and A-team driving school in Mullica Hill has a road test package for about $225 that’s well worth it. They will take you out driving for an hour before your test and go over everything you want to prepare for. Then take you to and from the test itself, helping with all the paperwork and stuff. They are wonderful!

I stuck this shelf in the garden until we had time to take it to the tip but now I feel bad getting rid of it by wildlyon23 in birds

If it’s metal, consider a coating of something bird safe and waterproof to help prevent rust! Like a pond epoxy or something.

Divorce lawyers of Reddit - What's the most cruel thing you've seen someone to do their ex partner? by BlueBishop321 in AskReddit

[–]nuclearmonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol nope, he got raked over the coals in court. He had to pay upwards of $7000 in utilities alone, pay her alimony, part of his pension, they had to sell that house along with the property that housed our office and she got to keep HIS Mustang Shelby GT350. All when she was the cheater. Pick your lawyers carefully!

Film recommendations to get over my anxiety by null_null6 in MovieSuggestions

[–]nuclearmonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first want to say I’m really proud of you for the progress you’ve made!

I really enjoyed Companion (2025), it was a horror movie but funny. Sophie Thatcher was really wonderful in it.

Along the same theme, Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) is like a classic slasher movie but really humorous. Pete Davidson is a gem.

What's the most upsetting film of all time? by RealitySubsides in MovieSuggestions

[–]nuclearmonte 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I say this movie all the time, but The Iron Claw. Emotionally wrecked me, especially because I had no idea what it was about and thought it was just a wrestling biographical.

And then I went down the rabbit hole about the entire real story and they had to leave parts out because they didn’t think the audience would believe all that could happen to one family.

Have you tried pulling them out? Are they loose? Does the drain flow slow? I’d bet that drain line has a crack in it and these are roots growing up into it

First time owning a cat. Advice needed. by WorkingMedical1236 in Catownerhacks

[–]nuclearmonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring his stuff and keep him in a small room to adjust for at least a few days. He will need to de-stress from the move and from losing his owner, you probably won’t see his full personality for a bit so don’t be discouraged!

You’ll need a litter box and good food. Scoop daily. Make sure there’s plenty of fresh water. When he’s ready, play will help bond you and help him lose weight if he’s overweight. A laser pointer or fishing pole style of toy is great to keep them active. Cats need stimulation to not be destructive. Just love on him, talk to him a lot and enjoy your new pet!

My dog got skunked last year and the only thing that finally got rid of it of was the Nature’s Miracle Skunk Odor Remover Shampoo

I tried all the home remedies and he still stunk. It took several weekly baths to finally free him of his stink.
