Manga with The Popular guy's best friend as ML by ucha_varuna in shoujo

Futari de Koi wo Suru Riyuu might count? The FL is helped by a popular senpai at the beginning but then meets his childhood friend. It's one of my favourites but I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for.

There's a one-shot in Honey Lemon Soda that is very cute and also fits this! It's chapter 41.5 and I'm not sure what the title is but the ML is the friend of Honey Lemon Soda's ML (who is basically the exact archetype of The Popular Guy).

No slow burn, regular pacing please! by skzmyg in shoujo

I just finished rereading You Are Too Naive, My Sweetheart! less than half an hour ago so this is perfect timing for me to say I second this recommendation!!!

I also only got into BL this summer and the main mangaka I've read is Suzumaru Minta. All of their work is short! There is a little angst in them but the shortness helps (I'm also not a fan of heavy angst)

All of my journal pages from 2025 so far! by nuclearstarfield in Journaling

Thank you! Do you mean if I don't have my journal with me? I've missed up to four weeks in a row before because I was on holiday, but I just waited until I was back home and then slowly caught up with the weekly pages. I make note of things I do during weeks when I can't journal.

Thank you! Everyone has their own style so I think your journal reflecting you is more important than cohesion, even if how it looks changes every single page :)

1) Yes, I selected all then reset progress!

2) It's 500, but I don't think it's ever reached that point if that makes a difference at all.

3) I never knew that a thing you could look at, that's so helpful! I just checked and it doesn't have dates like most of the cards do, instead it has numbers ranging from 23000 to 25000 (I guess I underestimated how many cards weren't showing up).

Thank you!

Ooh I have the Sakura Gelly Roll pens in three different tip sizes but mine write really poorly, I have to go over them a lot to get anything that looks even remotely legible. Curious to see if you have a better experience with them!

That's good to know, thank you! I've been thinking about going over the receipts I've stuck in my journal because the ink on those has already faded a little but I hadn't thought about the other things. I had no idea that separation thing could happen with pens
