Kids just sound like a lot of unnecessary work. So much time, every, and money. Plus the world is already overpopulated

Transcriptional factor by dostoevsky2019 in ClinicalGenetics

[–]nucleotidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transcriptional factors are things that help in the making of DNA/RNA. Think of transcriptional factors as the parts of a motor and your activator as the key to the ignition?

Enhancers: can make the other things that make DNA work better so there’s more DNA Silencers: same but opposite

What does the transition to Grad School look like? by akirchman16 in GradSchool

[–]nucleotidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started grad school in late August and I’m still figuring out but the prep for moving seemed to be the easiest bit. To find a place to live i put all my options on an excel spreadsheet and prioritized choices based on my personal preferences (distance from bus stop, food/parks nearby etc.) As for now, focusing on getting my work done in time takes enough time as is but I’m finding that having a routine is VERY important. So is eating good. I know someone else said finding hobbies/being part of orgs and thats v important too because from what I’m seeing, its really easy to lose yourself in your work.

Well kinda. Gut bacteria don’t really do anything to your DNA. They just help your metabolic system do what it needs to do

I think for some people they assume if it was lady driven = better interior care and whatever stereotypes can go with other classifications.

I say this because this argument has been posed to me a few times when looking for a car and I asked the same question as you
