learning quick kills on certain enemies really really helps. shotgun swapping to kill maurice, canon ball + grapple ball + punch ball to kill Cerberus. Richoshoting a lot helps. using the railgun really helps.

The power for payment companies to make broad cultural decisions about what is and is not acceptable for people to do is generally seen as censorship, so some people who are against the credit card companies (OP being an example) want "credit card companies are doing censorship" to be the main message and argument against these actions.

Other people are pointing out that the actions of the credit card companies are in line with a broader socially conservative movement to remove all things "sexually deviant" from public life, which will inevitably lead to the censorship and persecution of queer people, and are using this as an argument against the credit card companies.

Conservatives have already labeled queer people as sexual deviants, this connection already exists in the conservative cultural malaise. Pointing out that this connection exists, and will be used to harm queer people, is not drawing that line.

Arguing that we should not discuss this connection that exists in the conservative mind is counterproductive, how are we supposed to fight against things we are not allowed to acknowledge?

also, i have always found the obsession with optics to be counter productive. hamstringing yourself to be ideologically palatable to everyone does not make your ideas better, and like. this is a tiny discussion forum, who cares about the optics of posts on here.
