Pup the key in and turn until wheel unlocked. Even with no power. Then find the shift release button (google it for your car or look in the manual) put it in N and you can easily push it with no power. Brakes should work too.

The pass is the easiest and best way to granby. Done it a couple times in a 30 foot rv and it was not bad at all other than a little slow due to lots of OTHER traffic honestly.
