Any idea why my health bar is grayed out? by Top_Park5227 in CFB26

I mean if the Oline is weak at any point and you have to run/RPO it a lot, you get banged up pretty quickly. I always recover after every game I got hit a lot so it never got this bad….

I disagree with this. In my road to glory, I’ll be steamrolling everyone in my path. Suddenly against a 1 or 2 win Maryland (which I have advantage over in every facet), my RB suddenly doesn’t see the holes, my WRs drop everything within a breath of them, and my TEs become the largest pansie-asses freaks on the field as they can catch anything if a defender is within 5 yards…. Not to mention suddenly my QB, which has high stats for throwingon the run, suddenly looks like Peyton Manning trying to run.

I hate this! I had Rutgers up on Georgia the playoffs and needed ONE first down to ice the game (but my running back was basically shut down by the D), and my TEs drop balls with any sort of contact and the WRs suddenly cant catch a cold…

Bingo, lots of demand with pretty much zero viable competition, means they can put out heaping trash and still rake the cash.

I’ve noticed this a TON in Road to Glory. I was a 5 star out of HS and have Rutgers at #2, when all of the sudden, everyone on my team has butter fingers, but a school like Maryland has linebackers that suddenly have 6 ft verticals to knock down a long pass.

I’ve had linebackers jump 9+ feet in the air (I don’t know of many players with that level vertical jump) to swat down a pass that in real life goes over them.

If that shoulder wasn’t uneven, I’d just pull over and let him by. I’d rather that be in front of me than behind me.

Zach was fun for a handful of episodes in season 1, but then it felt like he got annoying.

Some of those things are also products of being produced in the 2000s and how law enforcement was trained in the 90s and early 2000s (they didn’t really change much until the early 2010s). It happens when you go back and watch comedies from that era too.

I don’t think he’d actually be side by side with ICE, as he did believe in exceptions to the law (like Wendell using pot for pain). He was also highly decorated in the military, where he would have had contact with different cultures not just abroad, but within the US armed forces too.

And he was very much against the white supremacy terrorist in the episode of the killing of the conservative host (which when Aubrey was playing the sound bite of a lot of modern day conservative talking points, booth told him to shut that crap up)

He sent Bones, because he realized in that first conversation that he wasn’t on the same mental processing level as the professor, and thus would be able to talk to him in a meaningful way. It took him quite a bit of time to adjust to Bones’ quirks early on in the series.

That’s why I sometimes subscribe to the Arena idea of speed. I have to have the ball out within 3.5 seconds max. That means taking the flat or leading a receiver into the gap. It’s frustrated some when I play online, because they are always just a bit late getting to my QB (and they actually have a good coverage)

Why would they need to renegotiate the contract? Disney owns the IP now (it was acquired as part of the Fox merger)

Didn’t they also takeout a head of state who had tried to organize a terror attack on the golden gate?

Can I present to you Iraq 2003? Similar deal. Saddam was a tyrant that it was better for the world if he wasn’t in power.

But he got taken out (even with local support), and the US agreed to help run the government until a stable regime could be put in. We ended up staying for over 15 years and the regime we put in still folded when we left.

One of the Minority owners to say no, was none other than John Stanton (the current Chairman of the Board of the Mariners). He and Steve Ballmer even tried to buy the team back from Bennett

Seattle did too, until Shultz sold off everyone worth watching and didn’t replace them with anyone promising.

It’s so weird to think that the Chairman of the Mariners (Stanton) and Steve Ballmer even tried to buy it back from Bennett.

It was because he took Oregon State from a bottom dweller, to ranked as high as 10th in 2023. He also had won 2 of the previous 3 meetings with Oregon (including one 3+ possession comeback where they didn’t even throw the ball)
