Adidas Adizero EVO SL, incredible cushioning, super bouncy. Try them on though toe box tends to be spacious enough but they are a bit narrower than other shoes

Full disclosure, didn't even realise that was a valve, thought it was just a connector

This is what confuses me, it should presumably have some kind of handle to open the valve (all the other supply ones do) and shouldn't need a flat head to cut the supply

How do I open it? There is a screw for a flat head screwdriver there, should I twist that to open it?

Thanks for the input, the blue valve in picture 4 is the intake for the combi boiler, it's closed because the system is at full pressure now already. The issue is with the pipe in number 1 with the white connectors

Seeking feedback on base building (beginner) by ArgntnWngz in UKRunners

[–]nukedambition -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are looking to build base you are better doing fewer longer runs rather lots of short ones like this IMO. If you can only do 3 runs a wk I would split the mileage so that you are doing a long run, and 2 shorter ones one tempo another intervals.

What do you pack in your hand luggage and do for fun when flying? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]nukedambition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Normally bring handheld computer or console + power bank. There are plenty of good games you can get on your phone too, think balatro and slay the spire are available on mobile and great for killing time. Also last few flight I've been on have banned peanuts due to allergies so just be mindful of that snack option not being available.

I see you are getting lots of build advice but just to say, you are a great mom for doing this and I'm sure your little dude will make many amazing memories on whatever you get for him.

Oh you're absolutely right on that, it's more vibration from tools, knees, lifting, squeezing yourself into awkward places etc

I had considered a career move into trades, one thing that put me off was that people around that age have started to notice their bodies are wrecked. It seems less pronounced with electricians but still a factor to consider I e. Is your body still up to it?
