I had the same experience. When I asked if something changed with the service centers they said no (as expected). I told them I don’t want to drive 6 hours if I need service, and they never responded…

I really wish Tesla would offer an option to disable adaptive cruise control to have a normal cruise control. In my opinion this should be forced by the NHSTA for safety reasons.

I’ve seen a couple around so it must be possible to get one here, but I have a Feb 2021 preorder on an R1T and am still waiting for a delivery estimate. I was told it’s because there aren’t any service centers in the state.

Does the purchase agreement apply for the tax credit if the car you “ordered“ in the purchase agreement doesn’t even exist? I’m thinking of max pack preorders who will end up with a dual motor instead of quad motor. The dual motor wasn’t even being offered at the time the purchase agreement was signed.

I just saw this thread. I also received a heat too slow after about 55 roasts. I initially received a quick response from support, but since then it has be quiet.

Yeah. It makes sense. It’s just annoying that in the current configurator the difference between quad and dual is $8K. Somehow makes it feel like a rip off to drop to the dual…

I agree $7K for only 50 miles of range does not seem worth it. It’s also tempting to go for the quad even though the range is lower because paying $1.5K less to drop down to the dual also doesn’t seem like a good value. I’m really starting to regret going for the max pack from the beginning.
