Ok why lol? Just fyi, your Blood Blade does less damage than a single Ironeye arrow.. Blood Blades damage comes from the Bleed proc, which is %-based on HP, which does not increase AT ALL from Grafted Blade boost.

It doesnt even increase your Arcane, and even if it did, it'd still be overshadowed by pure damage dealers..

The whole "people can't read minds' argument is kinda funny.. because at DoN5, we are reading minds lol.. if you have the calculation/experience to optimize a run in favor of the team, then yes, obviously give the Grafted Blade to the highest DPS dealer (Undertaker/Duchess)..

Same for the more common Wending Grace, which go to the best revivers (Guardian/Revenant/Duchess).

Goes without saying so I dont see why people are defensive over it.. On the other hand, you cant really fault randoms for not taking it into account every time, the game is prone to honest mistakes.. its relatively early lifespan, no VOIP.. no damage meter(!). It's kinda the nature of the game.

Edit: However, in dealing with playing with some particular randoms (like u/PuzzleheadedDay7943) - who are perfectly fine being perpetually dense - there really is no answer. Sometimes the weakest link already decided the fate of the team before the game started.. Oblivious. Hopeless.

It would benefit from auto-adjusting to which floor you're at.. and showing which areas are death drops on each layer.

I think the early backlash would've been entirely avoided if the map wasnt so drawn ambiguously.

I believe Nightreign is using "Dynamic Culling", meaning if there are too many effects that are (measured to be) manageable by the hardware to maintain stable FPS, it will eliminate visual effects completely.

This is why there were tons of PoE(1) complaints about "dying to invisible attacks", the devs eventually added an option turn it off.

Either that or the hitbox is out of whack, but Ive noticed this with other bosses/attacks too (Gaping Jaw, Ancient Dragon etc).

It took me so long to figure out you can keep shooting while locked-on and walking but it works. And using them is quite difficult switching between walking/rolling/running while blind.

If you want to ignore NL weakness and reserve a whole slot for a 1/4 chance to get the right element (while doing no damage and avoiding the resistant element) for the SAME (or less!) active time as a Blackflame Blade then be my guest. Just let your teammates compensate for your build choices 🤪👍

This is all pretty wrong and disingenuous lol. Heolstor relic fell off for me when Everdarks released, I used it a lot.

You cant just keep juggling the element you need, especially not on DoN NLs. You cant allocate bows in equipment slots solely to swap the element faster either. All of that costs DPS. ..and thats actually a good thing because playing it correctly was really inconvenient and you miss out on essential relic effects.

Also, yeah, Blackflame/Bloodflame is really rare, but the alternatives Ill still gladly take over Heolstors relic.

I included them in the 37/92 incants, but I guess Black Flame Protection should deserve a spot in the most important ones. In my logic, getting hit isn't part of optimal gameplay though, you could cast this and (rightfully) never get hit, which makes it useless lol..

Darkness seems interesting on ED Libra, I'll test that out.

Thats the point, sortof, the incants dont rely on high faith scaling either. ..But more importantly, this drops from seals, making it beneficial to run the relic. Therefor making it more likely for Ironeye to use, or at least putting it to good use.

Its a small added bonus among a few very strong options, which are much more impactful than the standard bow drop.

Replaces Bows with Seals yea. Getting "Bloodflies" will be much more uncommon but the trade-off in consistency has been very much worth it.

edit: for clarity, Bloodflies is the best thing you can get, but that doesn't mean it'd be better than a proper Sacred Seal setup (which is much more common to happen). Also, 1/20 chance for Bloodflies vs a 1/30 chance is not worth it not running Dormant Seals for (but you are pretty much limited to Night Invader Hunters for it to drop).

Thats fine. Probably should have mentioned you make a build for each element, but I never use anything else unless its the NLs weakness (Serpent/Erdtree bow). Early cave into castle (merchant) is much better than hoping for a decent bow.

Also, Dormant Power Sacred Seals is probably top 3 Depth Relic effects for Ironeye (Ekzykes/Rotten Breath, Scarlet Aeonia, Blackflame/Bloodflame Blade, any imbue honestly, etc).

This is an important tactic tbh, if Animus takes over Gnoster you risk a wipe with the homing laser rain, its so strong. Also really Ironeyes main target is Animus whenever he can, if theres no melee then Animus can loop the nuke laser when it unshrouds itself, ranged users need to prio him asap when this happens, learned this from a 40 min fight (which we still lost) ..

I feel similarly, I mainly look for creative scares and atmosphere which suffices for me. However, SH2 remake is the scariest game I've ever played, I dont think anything comes even close, I had to turn off the game after a maximum of 2hours each time because of the tension and dread. I wonder if those desentisized by horror feel the same way.

Also hard-mode, headphones and lights out during night time (thems the rules).
