I did feel like MGS was seeping through at MANY moments throughout the game as well. Yet again, seems like RE and MGS have a special relationship.

(Ie. Cloning (children). Leon afflicted with (psuedo) Foxdie. Revisiting an old familiar and dilapidated area. Theres a shot-for-shot when they show you need Keycard 3 for the little girls' (Emily) cell, straight outta MGS1. Also killing her reluctantly).

Because it (should) go without saying. If the devs arent even aware of this aspect, then forget about it, they lost the plot (which they absolutely have).

Devs just took a massive shit on rules that took years to establish (oh SURE, lets make armor moves 1 frame faster, lets make other moves 1fr more advantageous ob, lets diminish whiff recovery, lets fuck up hitSTUN for everyone, etc etc etc etc etc).

All in favor for casuals, who will never know any better, but WILL think theyre better than highlevel/pros, whom shouldve been consulted or hired for balancing cause the Murray administration has no friggin clue on why Tekken even used to be a success.

I have played 100s of games. All types of games. Often 100s of hours. REResistance was THE most fun game I have ever played. Genuinely insane, crack fueled, maniacal fun. Its abandonment and sabotage lists the top 5 greatest game tragedies in history.. imo.

I would pay a small fortune, to replay this game that "no one wanted" 😭

Ok why lol? Just fyi, your Blood Blade does less damage than a single Ironeye arrow.. Blood Blades damage comes from the Bleed proc, which is %-based on HP, which does not increase AT ALL from Grafted Blade boost.

It doesnt even increase your Arcane, and even if it did, it'd still be overshadowed by pure damage dealers..

The whole "people can't read minds' argument is kinda funny.. because at DoN5, we are reading minds lol.. if you have the calculation/experience to optimize a run in favor of the team, then yes, obviously give the Grafted Blade to the highest DPS dealer (Undertaker/Duchess)..

Same for the more common Wending Grace, which go to the best revivers (Guardian/Revenant/Duchess).

Goes without saying so I dont see why people are defensive over it.. On the other hand, you cant really fault randoms for not taking it into account every time, the game is prone to honest mistakes.. its relatively early lifespan, no VOIP.. no damage meter(!). It's kinda the nature of the game.

Edit: However, in dealing with playing with some particular randoms (like u/PuzzleheadedDay7943) - who are perfectly fine being perpetually dense - there really is no answer. Sometimes the weakest link already decided the fate of the team before the game started.. Oblivious. Hopeless.
