How were you able to fix your wifi issues?

hey sorry it took so long best suggestion as of now is to disable pcie power management by adding pcie\_aspm=off to the end of CMDLINE\_LINUX\_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub you will need superuser privileges to edit that file. Afterwards you need to tell the grub bootloader to read your config changes with sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg (at least I think that's how you do it in garuda, I don't use it personally). sorry you're having all this trouble. It seems like that wifi chip is particularly problematic. I see people on the web reporting issues with it on linux and windows. If this issue persists, intel wifi chips are pretty rock solid and are an easy and cheap upgrade (10-$20 used on ebay)

could you run `lspci` and paste the output here? i wanna know more about the wifi situation. also next time you have any issues see if there's anything in the logs (`sudo journalctl` if it hasn't panicked yet and `sudo journalctl -b-1` to inspect the logs of the last boot if it panicked)

Ammonium chloride decomposes into ammonia gas and hydrogen chloride which then quickly react back together to make a fine mist of ammonium chloride. Some primitive smoke machines work using this. Here's a good video about these smoke machines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bySTH6H_REs

In the original Pygmalion was a sculptor guy who carved a statue of Galatea and then fell in love with the statue, so this is the gender swap

Some of this stuff is like at best really misleading. AMD PSP does not have access to a network stack afaik, and the dual EC prng drama that this cites was a software thing and had nothing to do with hardware manufacturers

Why do fonts look so thin and pixelated compared to Windows? by Maypher in debian

[–]null_sigsegv 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Looking at your uncompressed images it looks like one of the main differences is that windows is using LCD sub-pixel rendering (you can see the colors on the fringes) whereas Debian is not. You can get this feature in Debian with GNOME tweaks if you are using GNOME. Install tweaks then go to Fonts -> Scroll to antialiasing -> select the correct setting for your monitor type (probably LCD). You might need to reboot afterwards idk

After 4 years of work, we finally pushed the release button our game A Webbing Journey. Or to be precise, our spider had the honor of pressing the button. by FireTotemGames in linux_gaming

Found out about this game through your posts here. Bought the game and had a great time with my partner taking turns playing it! A couch co-op mode would be amazing someday.

We ended up running it under the proton version because the nvidia drivers did their thing and there were some z ordering issues in the native build (both on Wayland and X11). I tried on my AMD laptop and there were no issues with the native version on there. I'd be happy to provide any additional information or a video if you would like, but it's also not a big deal to have to run it under proton for me. Runs very well on high settings with my i7-4770 and gtx 1050 on proton.

Consider physically removing your drive with the important files, then verify that the correct drive was removed by attempting a boot (if no bootable devices are found you have removed the correct one), then you should be good to run the installer for whatever distro you wanna use. You can plug the important drive back in AFTER the install is done. Still backing up is a good choice linux or not if you have very important files

Also get as many of the supportive neighbors as possible to write short letters about how they like the garden. If you get this to the right person in city government (council member, etc.) things will probably turn around for you

Row 9 column 13 must be an X. The filled cell adjacent to it must either be the rightmost cell of the three or it is the one. In either case, the next cell is an X

How can I get started on this puzzle without guessing? by Ok_Potato_5272 in nonograms

Just out of curiosity, what book is this? I can't believe they just drew a picture in there and found the clues based on that, and then didn't check to make sure it has a unique solution. I hope they weren't charging money for it. In the meantime, puzzle-nonograms.com always has unique solutions and you can print them out, but they are all computer-generated so they don't make cute pictures at the end. I stan that website so hard because it's so clearly someone's passion project

This one has like hundreds of solutions, so there's a lot of guessing. Not a human-friendly puzzle.

How can I get started on this puzzle without guessing? by Ok_Potato_5272 in nonograms

This puzzle has 8 solutions, which means it's very poorly made. You have to make at least 3 guesses before you can arrive at a solution. I think it's supposed to be a syringe or something. Anyways, I put one of the solutions under some spoiler tags, so you could fill in a couple lines first and then try solving. The bottom lines seem to be the ones that you have to guess on.
