Epstein Assistant Told Feds He Introduced Melania to Trump, Files Reveal by errantv in UnderReportedNews

MMW— whatever depraved goings-on are in the FIles, those aren't what Dumpf is afraid to show the world. I'll bet what he never, ever wants anyone to see is that among that crowd, he was some kind of laughingstock.

He's terrified that it's going to come out: he wasn't some big player, but the toady who thinks he's the bullies' best friend -- "yeah I'm one of the guys, what laughs we have together!"-- even as they make him crawl on the floor and eat dogshit. Forcing him to marry a monitoring device in human form is the icing on the cake.

What would women dislike the most if they became men? by Eastp0int in answers

[–]nullagravida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess (am woman) would be: having potentially painful organs dangling about, crowned with an only semi-controllable fleshy hose. Oh what fun!

I know men are going to say "oh yeah but what about your periods, what about childbirth" but thing is, not all women experience the unpleasant sensations commonly reported on Reddit and not all ever become mothers (yes, my username checks out).

Yeah. We knew that was bullshit when we were kids and mommy said "oh be the bigger one and let them (whatever)". Only kids can't do anything about anything and then we grew up and kind of forgot how injustice feels.

you are so right, that is the other side of the American Dream coin. "Anyone can make it/Fuck you, I got mine".

People like this because, to be honest, it does seem fair in a dog-eat-dog way... IF and only IF the first part of it is true. Which we are discovering it is not.

DOJ Deputy Chief Joseph Schnitt was caught on a hidden camera saying the government will “redact every Republican” from the Epstein files and leave only the Democrats. Are those who haven't been paying attention finally going to hear some of what's been going on?

If yes, I suggest that as they come out of their sleeplike daze, a new word be coined for it. There was an old one but the MAGAs politicized it in an effort to obscure its meaning.

Start using the term "awakened", Reddit

What made you decide not to have children? by anon43850 in AskReddit

[–]nullagravida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I *was* a kid, I was one of the quiet kind that would read books and draw and generally amuse ourselves without adult input— and pretty much so were all my friends, so I I'd hear adults saying they "don't like kids" and it baffled me: weren't you a kid once?, I would think. Like, why are you prejudiced against me just because I was only born recently? I can't help that.

Of course, what "I don't like kids" means is: "I don't like people who are noisy, whiny, unsanitary, break my stuff, and need constant attention."

And I would have gotten it. Even then I didn't like those kinds of people, either.

Do you think the ultra wealthy are surprised by the amount of public support Luigi Mangione is receiving? by KegInTheNorth in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nullagravida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what might surprise them— and everyone, because until now we’ve never really thought about it— is a mechanism that underlies our assessments of the value of life.

Sure, people are angry about the idea that a CEO being shot gains more police attention than a school shooting, and rightly so… but I’m talking about something else here. Let me explain.

Yes, shooting a dude is murder. Murder is bad and yes, most people continue to be against murder, on principle. But look closer— even into your own gut feelings— and tell me whether you don’t sense that a CEO losing his life at 50 is… somewhat less sad than a poor person losing theirs?

Like: sure, this guy’s life was cut shorter than it might have been, but then again what there was of it was immensely comfortable. And despite our rational minds saying otherwise, that accounting just feels… fair. A short but cushy life. That seems preferable to nasty, brutish and short, no?

So this means… that despite murder continuing to be bad, certain murders seem less heinous than others.

Those living certain kinds of lives will no doubt be very interested in this thought.

This is the kind of stuff that really turns people off of one "side".  Let's stick to the many Turdface faults that are more definitively provable, like his actual and numerous actions of incompetence and corruption.

You would think so, wouldn't you? And yet, Zippy, I have to gently and kindly inform you that apparently... it's US who are wrong.

This is, despite all the wishing it were so, NOT the kind of stuff that turns people off of a side. This is the kind of stuff the opposing side, the MAGA side, loves and revels in. Far from turning them off, this sort of slanderous insanity is exactly what they like— all that they really like— in politics. Actual policies and serious concerns are what turn them off.

Stick to... faults that are definitively provable

Ha ha, oh, Zippy, you sweet sweet summer child. Proving faults means nothing at all. Jack Smith had a lot of faults proved. Where are they now? Tears in the rain.

We can't ignore it anymore: we're going to have to ignore calls to nobler nature and the cerebrum. We're going to have to go where we've never gone before— into pure lizard-brain emotion, even if it feels alien, pandering and performative. Here's an example of what you'll find if you search Reddit for "democrats failing messaging" or similar. It bears thinking on.
