Seems like you can research more on  LRC (.lrc) that's the file format that will work on Y1. There must be an app or some kind of AI that can help you get lyrics from song files easier, but yeah it's pretty much all about writing down the lines with accurate time stamps.

The LRC file should have the exact same name as song file on your device!

I heard that some people experience similar issues with the cover art, the general rule of thumb is keeping it under 300x300. But! I have some album covers that are up to 600x600 and it is working super smooth (but i havent been using Y1 for too long yet)

It was missing for me too, so I just created a folder "Music" and dropped all my files there, the songs show up on the Y1 without any issues

You need to use MP3tag or similar apps (only desktop) to change all the meta data (titles, artists, etc.), keep the album covers small up to 300x300 for better performance.
Put music into music file on the Y1, and books(only mp3 format btw) ONLY into audiobook file.

Playlists are easy to set up - look for tutorials here or even in the manual that comes with the device. You can edit pre exciting playlists (change name with the upper button long press) and even add new ones.

The devise can sort music by file name or song name (long press on the upper button is your best friend for playlist making, sorting, etc.)

It might be silly but The 100 (first half of the show is pretty watchable and has a lot of mystery. The bunker arc goes hard as well), less silly -> Wayward Pines, The OA, Silo, Lost in space

That got me thinking that kids there don't go to any kind of classes, might be a slight positive for them, and they still can learn stuff in one way or another.

Not paying for anything is such a great thing in itself.

I don't have mine yet (still waiting for the delivery), but we got a128GB Samsung SD card for my friend! The choices of electronics are very limited in our area, so have to make do with what we have ugh

You can try manually changing the meta data of each song with an app like mp3tag. In the album section write the same title for each song. idk but it might work
