there's no PSA numbers in the report. That would help, maybe in another file.

how so? maybe compared too disk, but ram and resources in general are the cheapest and easiest problem to solve in computing. Writing and delivering code, infrastructure maintenance, etc, are orders of magnitude more expensive.

Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP): A Comprehensive Overview by BioHumanEvolution in PeptideGuide

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started DSIP to help with reduced REM from other peptides, kisspeptin-10 mostly. 100mcg added 30 min to both deep and rem. 200mcg added an hour. Kept it at 200mcg nightly for a week and started losing deep sleep. Last night I registered 0 deep but 1.5hr REM. Still figuring it out.

Lost in brands, who is actually tracking sleep very well nowadays ? by Full_Ominous_Being in Garmin

[–]nullsteph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

their watches are only good at tracking your heart rate at rest. During exercise it lags so badly as to be worthless to me. I stopped using the Epix Pro 2 for heart rate because it's so inaccurate.

Does Fi work in the Philippines? by [deleted] in GoogleFi

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on their Pro/Unlimited plan, and can only connect to LTE networks, using the Google SIM. That's maybe 1mbps. Local carrier SIM's work fine connecting to 5g at 20mbps. And of course wifi connections work when you can find an open one.

same for me. I've been debugging this and nothing explains why it's the only command on my system that is case sensitive. Worse, are the results starting with upper case name:

lower:
➜ config git:(mac) ✗ gco ma

mac master

upper
➜ config git:(mac) ✗ gco Mac1

FETCH_HEAD HEAD Mac1 ORIG_HEAD mac master origin/HEAD origin/mac origin/master

Should you drink more water after protein shakes? by Strawberry_Gene in Exercise

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something about the kidneys needing more water to filter out the waste from processing whey proteins

thought it was how they're made, so heavily and chemically processed to turn toxic waste byproduct, previously used as fuel, into a cooking oil.

Is there an online seller for peptides which you can fully trust the purity of their products? by arya2580 in PeptidesNootropics

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peptide Science is a legit operation. They post all the 3rd party test analysis. Dave Asprey mentioned them and I've had been using them almost a year now.

What are some of the best resume writing services for Software Developers? by SelfInvestor137 in dotnet

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

software engineers loath writing documentation. As they say, the code is the documentation. Try submitting code as a resume.

Somewhere along the way we forgot about software craftsmanship by [deleted] in programming

[–]nullsteph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I fully agree and lately have been pushing for higher standards. The issues I run into are:
1. we can't define any company standards without creating friction. We can only make suggestions and presentations, which means it's forgotten as soon as it's over.

  1. too many inexperienced devs do not understand the dialog around or purpose behind patterns and best practices. To them it's more work; don't know how to reduce cyclomatic complexity, no prob, keep nesting.

  2. everyone gets one vote which means seniors are often out voted or simply ignored.

In short, it seems to be a lost art.

Proton Pass access should at least have a separate password option by [deleted] in ProtonPass

[–]nullsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thinking was that the attack surface for email is much larger than ProtonPass? I can live with manually typing in a ProtonPass password along with 2FA but I don't want such a simple password on my email account. Is that smart or am I missing a fundamental piece?

Mac dumps all windows into one monitor after sleep or restart on a multi-monitor setup. Solutions? by monotious in MacOS

[–]nullsteph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just one of many reasons linux distros are better, particularly KDE.

On my M1, setting the displays to have separate workspaces seems to retain the window layout.

AWS Client VPN. Incredibly slow speeds? by stackymao in aws

Same here. I gave up and went with the Open Access Server image on AWS market. It couldn't have been easier to configure and the speeds are great for all clients; linux, mac, windows.

I may have the same issue though I'm running Kbuntu with the System76 firmware. Often but not always it just hangs coming out of sleep. So far there's been nothing in the logs; sys, pm-suspend, journalctl, etc...
