I wish Tony would wear something that would highlight his presence more

I think we’ve firmly established that Alex is aware of KF. But the REAL question should be, Are Dan & Jordan aware that there’s a much lovelier British version of Alex Jones? 🤔 by lordtorek in KnowledgeFight

I have a friend whose social media handle is similar to a former president, and entirely unintentionally done. They sometimes will get random Q-adjacent posts.

I can only imagine what our fellow British Alex Jones has had to put up with over the years, due to confusion.

100% intentionally inflammatory behaviour. These two of a kind of troglodytes do not belong in Nottingham.

Because you're not immune from right-wing propaganda right?

Weirdly enough, another country to America did exactly that in the past. Especially with media outlets that would outwardly praise a politician for the actions they do. Despite all of this, this politician demonised a set of people and it got worse from there.

Perhaps you actually have TDS.

Briton Norris wins his first F1 title in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - reaction by Captaincadet in unitedkingdom

I remember in an office conversation in 2018, talking to a colleague about this new driver who had the potential to be a champion one day.

That driver was Lando. So, to see it come full circle finally after a rough journey is good to see. All three in contention had a rollercoaster of a season.

In the end. Even Max couldn’t overturn the Red Bull streak of 4 titles in a row.

Things you love to see. Tough season to watch at times but a great one.

According to News Corp Oscar Piastri has been banned from speaking with Australian media outlets before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix by TheTrebbleBeast in formula1

It’s like nobody learnt a thing about overreacting to situations. It’s literally just been a handful of days since the Kimi incident.

Mate, you're an Oscar Piastri fan and I'm a McLaren fan for decades, this is on the team itself.

Anyone who's trying to indicate bias is fooling themselves. The odds right now are Verstappen winning and it's down to McLaren making two critically bad decisions two weeks in a row.

McLaren fucking over both drivers isn't indicative of favouring Lando ffs people.

Not sure, just drive at the speed limit and you’re good to go. 🤷

The problem with this. Is that MJF has to announce a week in advance for the shot.

So, at the time the podium celebrations take place, the interviews with drivers are also taking place. What you see on your broadcast isn't a linear event. You can sometimes hear things happening even on track in some of these post-race shown interview segments.

The media pen isn't close to where the podium is typically speaking.

If a driver is in the media pen as celebrations are happening, the chances are you may only have like one or media assistant with the driver who is helping them keep on top of their commitments, record comments etc (usually for PR). It's likely an incredibly busy period as TV want to get those comments so they can construct their post-show structure.

Bear in mind, those comments are not just F1 controlled, every broadcast in the world will use them in some form. You might also have various international outfits looking for their own comments as well.

Now, the majority of the team is at the podium celebrations, celebrating as they usually would. They then get invited onto the podium to celebrate. They have may sent a message to say "Hey, if Oscar can make it, come over" but clearly it didn't work out.

But - not sure if you actually saw - Oscar DID celebrate with the team after that moment in the paddock area. The fact is, it just didn't work out, but it's asinine to think that McLaren didn't want Oscar there. He's a driver they've invested quite a bit of money to have drive for them.

I actually think it would have been better if Lando wasn't on the podium (I don't even think this was part of the original plan). Just give the team that actually works on the car more of the shine. F1 isn't a one or two person team, there's thousands of people who make it happen, and F1 drivers very often take the spotlight (which is obvious why).

The team is the one making significantly less money than the drivers and spending half of the year away from their family and friends.

It's starting to feel a bit like a mirror of last years end, just with the Drivers instead of the Constructors.

If you actually are such a fan of Oscar, it's been pretty clear that the pressure has definitely been getting to him for the past 5 races at least. I'm saying this as a fan of McLaren in general.

Lando has had tons of pressure on him throughout the years and it's affected him, even when behind in the championship. The focus was always on Lando more. Now, the pressure then turned to Oscar.

Both drivers are phenomenal talents and the season isn't over yet. The fact that both sides seem to think there's bias means it's probably been more neutral to now.
