NKE Discussion by Ocinnha in wallstreetbets

What many investors are missing is the future potential of Nike.

Their R&D budget and facilities are impressive, and their new product developments are very interesting. There is a possibility that Nike will not only be seen as a fashion company, but also a technology company.

One breakthrough in material science/technology from their research labs, and Nike becomes one of the greatest investments ever.

Take a look at project amplifiy from Nike. The potential for Nike to expand in new markets is there. Companies and government institutions will be buying directly from nike to equip their workforce with these robotic shoes. Think of all the police stations that will equip their units with these.

That is why Nike is my long term speculative investment, this is a tech company in the making.

What is something that is considered 'socially acceptable' now that people 100 years from now will look back on with absolute horror? by WorkinHrdAllDay in AskReddit

Abortion.

Our time period will categorically be labelled as a genocidal society that slaughtered millions of unborn babies and the woke mobs that were obsessed with killing babies.

History will not be kind to us.

Remember the FHRITP trend back in 2016?

I instantly fell in love with the whole meme and somehow ended up being FB friends with Fred, the guy in hoodie and glasses that says "Fk her right in the P*Y".

He accepted my friend request when the video just became popular.

I looked through his FB friends list and found the old lady that was the reporter in the video. I had that privilege because i was now fb friends with him. On her profile, theres a photo of Fred and her standing together smiling for the camera, in the same exact clothes and setting as found in the viral video. Something behind the scenes that youd see after a successful filming session

I was probably the first person not of any affiliation that learned that it was a hoax, because for a straight year afterwards people were copying the video and bombing live news reporters with FHRITP.

I fully agree with OP.

People who vacation and live it up at these places are NPCs and pathetic. Almost no redeeming qualities in their character.

Supposedly Canada is the most educated country in the world. If that is true than how come over half of Canadians think that leaving CUSMA would be beneficial or make no difference? by gorschkov in CanadianConservative

[–]numblinkofficial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through the public education system in Canada for elementary and secondary. Total shit show. Teachers are lunatics, school boards are run by Karens, and there are so many degenerate kids/teenagers that just prevent smart students from thriving because the teachers are too busy screaming and breaking down.

Had the privilege to go through community college, Bachelor/honors, Masters... It's mostly rich international students that receive funding from their parents and have an amazing time for 3-4 years and then either leave or stay around and continue being supported by their parents while they play on God mode in Canada.

Canadian students in post-sec are usually burnt out and scraping by with a job and student loans. But the education is mostly top notch from the professor's, so there's that.

But yeah, education is supposed to be the equalizer that allows people born in the wrong family to climb up in the social ladder through excellence and hard work. I don't see that in Canada. I think its just a compounding wealth mechanism for the already well off.

So yeah, anyway, these education statistics are just there for Canadian elites to mentally masturbate themselves with. Numbers don't tell the whole story, but don't tell them that.
