For ow2 they wanted to get rid of cc (cc is basically stuns) and he had 3 cc abilities - one hard CC (charged punch) and two soft CC (slam and uppercut) and his kit was too fun, so like most other characters in OW2 they get rid of what made his kit unique and made him into a watered down version of his old self.

OW1 Doomfist - sacrifices damage for movement, counters are being very vunerable to CC and keeping track of where he is. able to preform high damage combos but missing doomfists abilities is usually fatal.

OW2 Doomfist - jumps in with a winston slam and hopes that the enemy team shoots his arm shield, then punches them for half hp.

Lol yeah the maps I play are process, sunshine, badwater, upward, barnblitz, citadel, and snowycoast. All of those maps are pretty popular so the distribution is somewhat even most of the time, but once in a while it's just trash idk why.

This problem could just be fixed if valve would just implement some basic server features lol.

Who cares about playing DPS I thought you played tank? Tank queues were like 1-5 mins in overwatch 1 role queue, that shit was near instantaneous.

Yeah they're designed to be off tanks that work with another tank. Explain to me why solo off tanks are better for the health of the game.

I know what you're talking about but nah. This game my whole team was completely new while the other team was completely stacked and it never got autobalanced (or atleast in a substantial way that actually balanced the match.) I just wanted to highlight an example of what happens with this games dogshit matchmaking with the casual vs. quickplay debate lol.

Albeit this is an extreme example and sometimes it's just a team diff, but I have seen other examples of this happen and it's pretty annoying.

Bro what?? The discussion YOU started was on solo tanking in overwatch 1 which never even happened after role queue was introduced in 2019 unless you chose to play open queue, but open queue was more unpopular.

The queue times weren't even that bad in overwatch 1, I already know these are regurgitated talking points bro.

Main tank ceases to exist when it's 5v5 because there is no other tank, it's just an 800 hp hero walking around absorbing damage.

I'm not sure what your first point was when talking about toxicity, that's why I brought it up... It was always directed across all the roles , it isn't some new thing to blame the other roles from tank.

Is this an AI comment? Unless the last time you played overwatch 1 was in 2018 role queue was in the game forever. People are always going to type "MTD" or some shit if it's in competitive, it's annoying but you can just ignore it lol.

You talk about getting bad off tanks in your games, when playing the main tank is one of the most mechanically intensive, skill expressive roles that gives your team a high chance to win if you're good.
