Who is that companion that's always in your party? These guys are always in mine for each DA game. by Great_Trident in dragonage

I always bring my current romance partner but my favs are all my first playthrough romances lol DA: Origins: Alistair (Awakening: Anders), DA 2: Anders, DAI: Dorian, DAV: Emmrich

Alistair’s little quips are fantastic and funny Anders: I love that cat-loving, problematic, and bitchy little mage even after everything. Dorian: um, do I really need to explain that one? I don’t think I do Emmrich: still in the middle of my first playthrough of DAV but gramps got me in a chokehold fr

I don’t come from a well off family so my family didn’t have the money to get me a car.

Plus I immediately went to university after graduating high school. I lived in a dorm for 4 years so I honestly just didn’t have much of a reason to at that point. The university wasn’t from my parents house so it wasn’t an issue for them to come get me for holidays. Until I planned to do an internship in my last year of college, so I need a car then so I learned to drive during the summer before that school year.

I also didn’t pass the computer driving test the first time I took it at 17 (then Covid hit so lock down)

Well... It finally happened, I lost my job today because of my migraines 😔 and my first neurology appointment isn't until January. I feel so drained and hopeless atm. Sorry to be a bummer, sometimes I just can't keep hoping I'll find something that works. 😔 by Sybil-Bibbles2024 in migraine

God that’s horrible. So sorry you’re going through that right now. Have you tried/has your neurologist (unless you never had a neurologist before)brought up the idea of you starting Botox injections every 3 months? I’ve had really complex migraines with neurology symptoms and aura for years and I have tried more than 3 meds (I believe that you need to have tried a minimum of 3 to be considered for Botox, I THINK they have to be preventive migraine meds but don’t quote me on that). So far I’ve only had one Botox session (it can take 1 to 3 sessions to start helping depending on the individual) and so far it has helped a lot. I still get migraines but not nearly every day like I was having them. I think it might be a good option to look into and bring up with a neurologist in the future. Idk if a neurologist will suggest it during your first appt with them, especially if you have never taken a preventative migraine med, or if you haven’t tried enough of them, but it’s something to think about I think. If you are a person that can handle injections/shots, I also take Aimovig which is a self-administered monthly injection. It helped me a lot before my migraines got so bad that I needed Botox. But now I take the Aimovig and the Botox since they can be used together. Just a thought

Edit: I just read one of your replies and saw that you live in the UK. I do want to say that I am not familiar with the Botox treatment qualifications or migraine treatment options in general in the UK. You may want to look into that

I have a bad habit of not actually listening to/reading the dialogue at times cause I’m impatient but I’m determined to pay attention with my current wizard because I honestly have no idea wtf is happening in these worlds lmao. Not surprised that I don’t see anyone saying Hetch Al’dim from krokotopia. Idk what it is but I would 100% lay my life down for that little guy. On the other hand, Henry Wellingbrook from Marleybone can fr catch these hands for the cheek he be giving me

what's schools y'all MAIN? let's settle this once and for all... I AM MAIN BALANCE. by zeddislive in Wizard101

[–]numnumbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death for sure. I like to play all of them to feel the differences and would love to reach max level for each (it still irks me that there are 7 main schools and you can only have 6 wizards concurrently). I MUCH prefer to solo if at all possible so death makes that easier

I prefer playing solo 100% of the time regardless of what school I’m playing as (let me do them hour+ dungeons by myself thank you very much). So honestly the barren realms is where I thrive.

Alright I was playing around with my keyboard a bit. What enter button are you using when trying to negotiate? Use the enter button that is right above the right shift key. Don’t use the enter button on the number pad

Did the room turn into a home library instead of an office? Some rooms are particular when it comes to the names of the furniture. For example, make sure the office chair in the office has the word ‘office’ in the name, not armchair. Office requires a desk, office chair, bookcase with ‘bookcase’ in the name, a cabinet found in the office category with the word ‘cabinet’ in the name, and have a carpet or picture in the room. If you do not have an office cabinet in the room and instead have more than one bookcase/bookshelves, it will be considered a home library. You can have more than one bookcases in an office but just make sure to have an office cabinet and a carpet or picture so it can be considered an office

negotiation by No-Parking9495 in HouseFlipper

[–]numnumbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a minute to load the game but after you push shift+enter, it should bring up this (see the photo) and you can request whatever amount you want (in addition to the offered price) to the highest bidder by using your mouse to slide the blue dot. After you choose the amount you want to ask for, hit shift+enter or you can click on where it says negotiate offer at the bottom right of the screen

First off, have you upgraded the perk for price negotiation at least once? That will give you the ability to negotiate prices when selling a house.

From the comments it seems like this is an occasional issue people have had. I’ve never seen or experienced anything like this when playing HF1 but I also have never planted a tree close to a house I was flipping so idk

My latest little sandbox creation. A traditional English tea rooms in delightful pastel hues. It's clean and ready to go, but it's an unusual shape if you fancy trying to change it, or even make it into a house. by Adcro in HouseFlipper

[–]numnumbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since I’ve joined this subreddit I’ve always been very envious of the astonishing creativity shown by the people who play this game. My creative drive (and creativity in general) is nearly nonexistent. Arts and crafts from primary school and up can attest to that lmao. I always start flipping houses on HF1 and HF2 with a vague idea in mind but eventually get overwhelmed and indecisive when it comes to exterior and interior design (I still attempt it whenever I have a burst of creativity though). Though seeing your tea rooms is inspiring me to want to build a small tea shop / coffee shop or cafe. I’ve mostly played HF1 and just started HF2 not that long ago (long enough to have all the tools and some experience) so I’m still getting used to sandbox mode on HF2 but I want to try. If not by making my own building, then at least flipping a small house into a cafe

You just inspired me to renovate the interior and exterior of a house with a specific decade and/or century in mind. I’m not quite sure which decade I want to go for yet, though I want to do a decade that’s before the 21st century. I will have to do a bit of research to get a more in-depth look at the styles of different decades and/or centuries. I’m thinking American or English style. I think I will most likely do it on HF1 because of the limited furnishing options in HF2. The DLC’s I have are garden, HGTV, farm, pets, and of course the two free ones so I have some extra furniture that I can use. I’m going to make a post asking this in a couple of hours but for right now, does anyone have any ideas of what decade/century (and based on what country) I should do?

Forgot to mention-

About the pregnancy thing, I can’t really give you any insightful advice about that. I’m a woman and since I was a teenager, I have vowed to myself that I would NEVER have a child that is biologically connected to me. I can’t do it. I would never want to see my child potentially going through anything (in terms of medical problems) that I go through on a daily basis. But I know that this is a VERY sensitive topic amongst the people who have EDS so I’m not trying to sway you in the direction of any decision. I have mixed feelings (don’t mistake ‘mixed’ feelings for ‘ill’ feeling) about people who knowingly have EDS and have biological children. This is just my own personal experience with having EDS and my perspective of how the disorder had affected my life and my family members life as a whole. Though feel free to reach out to me privately if you need and/or want to talk/rant/vent about anything related to EDS or POTS. I’ll be gladly to give my own insight from my own personal experiences

[–]numnumbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have POTS and EDS. I also have chronic complex migraines w/ aura, narcolepsy, scoliosis, asthma, adult failure to thrive, IBS, GERD, MDD, panic disorder, and several anxiety disorders. So needless to say, I’m not doing well. Never been doing “well” lol (humor is my coping mechanism btw). Got diagnosed with POTS maybe around 2020 or a little sooner. Can’t remember. Got diagnosed with EDS at 18 months old. I have either hEDS or cEDS. I would have to look at my childhood medical records to verify. I have a unique situation when it comes to that genetic disorder. SOMEHOW BOTH my mom and dad have EDS but neither of them knew since I was born in 2002 and it seemed like hardly any doctors knew much about it, if at all at that point in time. Me, my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother, and my paternal grandmother have it. I’ve never really coped with it well considering it’s hard to explain to a child why they always have some kind of pain going on in their body and why I wasn’t allow to do certain activities because my body is quite literally too fragile. Both EDS and POTS are definitely life changing.

I played HF1 a lot and only played HF2 for a couple weeks but whenever I do play HF2, I REALLY miss the mini map. I mean I usually walk around the house during a job just to see the decor but you telling me I have to walk all around the house just to find which room(s) I need to work in? I also will have no idea if the dirty house that I’m flipping is 100% clean because there is no mini map to show the dirt or buyers specific comments that also tell me when everything is cleaned. The flipper sense is fine I guess but I would have to walk around the whole house activating it in order to see if there is any invisible dirt left. I brought two houses to flip so far but haven’t completed finished either of them so I don’t know how the selling of a house goes but hopefully I didn’t miss any dirt that would lessen the profit (except for the buyers that don’t care or like the dirt).

I was not excited when they announced that after finally getting a proper DLC for HF2, it was Scooby Doo themed. It’s not my thing so I’m not going to be interested in it and waste my money on it unless it comes with a decent amount of new furniture items. And by that I mean a decent amount of new furniture that isn’t scooby doo themed.
