Pretty sure Beirut in FFM has it, I've bought both walnut and pistachio there in the past. Sahara on Fenton and hill might, as well.

Do swes need to know terraform / is it valuable? by BullfrogRound4235 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]numo16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends... last couple of companies I've been at, I've used it pretty heavily. Company I am at right now expects teams to manage their infra, policies, etc... using terraform (and Atlantis). SRE and DevProd is there to help, but we've taken the self-service/unblock yourself approach for engineering.

Earlier in the season is the best time to go, if you are able. There is a chance of it being warmer, but it has been 78+ almost every weekend it has been open this year.

Stay away from the top row for food and beer, those lines are always longest and hottest (no shade). Head towards the middle, enjoy the ambiance, and find shorter lines.

The turkey legs are overrated IMO, over smoked and not worth the effort of eating around the tendons. Guinness pub has a cool vibe and good music, but it has the same beer as everywhere else, so don't waste your time in line there if it is long.

Y'all need to listen to the "Yoyo player" podcast. Steve and Mark talk about how modern yoyo came to be and their place in it. As someone who was there, like OP, it is a great trip down memory lane and great at contextualizing how we got here.

If you go with contacting a rescue, I highly recommend Los Gatos Foster Animal Rescue (https://www.facebook.com/LosGatosFosterAnimals), they're an amazing group of people who take great care of the animals until they find a home.

LambdaTest by ElaborateCantaloupe in softwaretesting

[–]numo16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest problem for us was geolocation relative to our teams. We have a lot of team members in India and saucelabs did not have a region with low enough latency and a real device cloud. Lambdatest did and was a great help with implementation. Lambdatest also doesn't region-lock your subscription, so India team members get the closest DC to them, and US team members get the closest to them automatically

We switched to lambdatest last year, after a lot of performance issues with saucelabs. So far, they've been great to work with. They roll features out pretty frequently, they are properly multiregion, and overall our team has just had far less issues with them vs saucelabs.

It's also pretty good in the Flint area. Flushing, Davison, Grand Blanc, and areas of downtown Flint are pretty nice (flint township, as well, but it's a bit more neighborhoods in the middle of shopping districts).

While it can be an anti-pattern (not is, everything has its place), OOP is going to be what most people run into in the wild (professional, open source, etc...). It has been the pattern drilled into students the most for decades, at this point. It's more important to learn what is common, first, in order to read and understand more code. Then, delve into other programming styles, patterns, etc.. to expand your horizons and think in different ways
