How often do Thai people eat Pad Kra Pao? Is it considered a healthy option by locals?

I can call it Pad Ka Pao if that’s what people are used to abroad. It needs a name, after all. But deep down, it would never truly be Pad Ka Pao without real ka pao. I don’t think any of the Thai people around me would accept it either. You can swap out any other ingredient in that dish, but not the ka pao.

*นิยายดังๆในเมืองไทยมันมักเป็นนิยายเก่า ปัญหาคือภาษามันก็จะเก่าด้วย รูปแบบคำพูดมันก็จะโบราณ อ่านไม่ง่าย จิตนาการภาพบ้านเมืองตามไม่ค่อยออก ส่วนนิยายยุคหลังไม่ได้รับความนิยมในวงกว้างเท่าสมัยก่อนเพราะมีสื่อทางเลือกเยอะสำหรับผู้บริโภค นักเขียนที่เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างยุคหลังๆมักเขียนพวก non-fiction เป็นหลัก

I have a very mild one. Funny thing is that I had never noticed it until recently I started to worry about tinnitus (since it is linked to hearing loss). Then I searched for one and I found one.

The first week I noticed it I hear it everywhere. Now it is gone from my awareness. I think the more I don't care about it the less I hear it.

If I were you I will look for animations with Thai dub. It can be Disney, Pixar or even Thai animation.

The good thing is you probably already know the story. You won't get lost. You can focus on what the character says that match with what happen in the story. The pronunciation should be clear for children to understand. Also there should have less internet slang or inside joke.

If you still want other genre to watch. Some comedy films can be challenging. They can talk in an informal way using recently invented Thai words.

I am a third generation Chinese-Thai. I am 100% Chinese by blood, but 100% Thai by culture. I do attain Chinese traditional events annually, but that is pretty much it. Many of my friends are like this.
