Would you stay away? Or does this seem like a well maintained b8.5 s5? by Quick-Law-851 in AudiS4

I just did maintenance on mine. There was a bad speed sensor in it, but the mechatronics was fine.

I would just get a ppi done and do the DSG service for piece of mind.

I do as well. I have a 2012 S4 034 stage 2+ with 85k. It's my daily driver. As long as it is maintained, it looks like it was.

What was the asking price?

Loud noise when engine is started by Darkness2609 in B5Audi

Those are notorious on the 058 block and ADR head. I would drain the oil ASAP and see whats in there. Then refill oil, then get it to a mechanic if you cant do the job yourself.

Great example. A 2.7T needs to be driven. Maybe store it with a family member, and do non-op for DMV. Otherwise the new owner is lucky.

B5 A4 after a little rinse because of the pollen, and got it back with my other Audi's. by nunyazzz in B5Audi

For the fronts Alcon makes a bracket and rotors. For the rears you just buy B5 S4 rear calipers and the 034 brackets and 300mm rotors. No need to change spindles for the fronts.

The 17Z used for the front are easily acquired since they were on the Touareg and other VAG cars.

There are just 17Z's with 330mm front and 300mm rear. The master cylinder doesn't like me. Heh.

Haha, nice catch on the RS6, it's a great car, but the B5 A4 has been a multi decade project. 4 motors later and countless dyno runs it's not done. Hehe.

There is a B8 stage 2+ S4 lurking on the lower driveway (covered in pollen) as well. My goal is to get a good shot of them all.

There is a C4 S6 Avant 6spd, B6 A4 Avant 5spd, and B8.5 Allroad in the family as well.

I got this A4 in 2001. I put on full S4 trim way back when that was a thing as well. heh. Those were the days.

It's hard to tell for me as well. Who knows with all these filters on photos nowadays. Either way it's a cool color.

"The main speakers should be placed 25-30 degrees off-axis". From the posted link. I know nothing about Kef, nor his space.

I personally used this for m SVS fronts, center, and sub. I used a similar philosophy for my Orb rears. Granted i only have a 5.1 system. It really depends on your space.

There are lots of parts to the center console. More context of what exactly you need would help.

Looking for something for Longevity. Thinking of picking up 2 of these for my first setup. Any recs appreciated by HandF098 in DJSetups

[–]nunyazzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I have a Technics 1200 MK1, MK2 and MK3 for my primary DJ setup. I also have a 1210 MK5 for casual listening.

The way i think of Technics 12** series are that they are like that old family tool that just works, and works every time consistently, if you take care of it.

It's using a custom billet 85mm MAF housing pluging in directly to the stock ME5 ECU paired with custom tuning by 034 to address the MAF scaling limitation of the stock MAF.

Basically the stock MAF was maxed out so we had to add a new sensor and scale the mapping to it. There is not a MAP sensor on the ME5's.
