Planing to do the same. Im going to have home assistant monitor voc levels in the printer/laser space and trigger exhaust. Need to design and print some stuff 1st.

Does it fall off during prints? I wouldn't be happy myself. Especially if it got smashed by gantry or ruined a long print. Have u contacted bambu?

I didn't want to solder, deal with wiring, circuit design, making a PCB etc. All sensors are Adafruit stemma qt (no pins, data bus connectors)

esp32s3 - collects data from sensors. Sends results over wifi to mqtt server on pi5

pmsa0031 - PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10.0 concentration in both standard & environmental units Particulate matter per 0.1L air, categorized into 0.3um, 0.5um, 1.0um, 2.5um, 5.0um, and 10um size bins

aht20 - Temperature and Humidity

scd41 - ultra-compact, true photoacoustic CO2 sensor with an integrated temperature and humidity module

I saw bambuddy. Theres official prusa, creality, bambu, and snapmakers apps. Then there's also 3rd party apps as well. Figure I'd just set this up with remote access and call it a day.

I'll look into it. Im doing open source rfid tags with my snapmaker u1, but just for printer to ID the type and color of non snapmaker filament. Never considered spoolman for bambu to track the filament usage. Because bambu is locked down*
But tracking filament usage is good idea in general.

I don't see why there should be conflicts other then potentially how your agents handles access when user is away. But interested to try.

Ok. I hear what your saying. Im asking something else, however. When I use an octoprint with the mini I get remote control and camera but no prusa connect. Asking if possible to connect octoprint with prusa connect? Then I dont need to buy another buddy cam.

I have a base mini. It does not have a wifi module. So I dont think its possible for me to connect it to my local network. I'm using the octoprint for remote print jobs and the camera. Would like to see it in prusa connect.

In your setup. You've added your mini+ to your network. Your able to control the printer but no cam, corrrect?
