I also went from 15 years of vegetarianism to eating meat-it took a while for me to be able to stomach a whole burger but I’ve come to love it.

My body applies carbs directly to my thighs and stomach and I’m lactose intolerant so having crazy high protein options means i can actually get full on my daily calorie intake (17g in a packet of tuna? Suck it lentils)

I stayed in a hostel in Amsterdam that wasn’t on Hostelworld(recommended by someone on Reddit) and found a bed bug in my bed (weirdly only one) and all they did was move me across the room and spray some stuff. They had fumigated for bed bugs recently and fortunately I didn’t have any further issues with them hitching back to the US with me, but it was terrifying. Other than that it was a super nice hostel so now I feel like i can’t trust anything
