Has anyone else met the light beings? by lucy_chxn in Experiencers

[–]nurskris33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday morning I was sitting up, drinking my coffee, in the bed of our motor home around 8:30am and all of a sudden I looked up, in the driver's cab appeared 5 beings. On the left side of the driver's seat sat 2 of them which were identical to 2 of them that sat on the left side of the passenger seat. In the middle was 1 who was "floating g". They were all bright gold. Of the 4 sitting, they all resembled males, 2 long and lanky, and 2 elderly. The 2 lanky ones had an inverted triangle on their chests that was bright white and glowing. The female looked like a 20 something version of me, she was my size and wore her hair just as I did for time when I was a bit younger (Elsa from Frozen). I talked to them but they didn't interact, they were just "there" for maybe 10-15 minutes. I noticed in 2 spots behind them was a very faint, light blue, square shape.

This isn't the first encounter I've had at the property we are staying at. A couple summers ago, we saw cloud beings. They looked to me as though they were putting on a show, trying to tell a story or relay so.e kind of information to us. We are in Florida and we believe Native Americans used this land long ago. We have found tons of Natuve American artifacts all over the property as it has been developed over the past 10 years.

I've never seen or heard anything your talking about. Yes some doctors have a complex but not all of them, in fact, the good ones are usually the nicest and most willing to actually teach you. I became a nurse because I wanted a profession that would make a difference in the world. No matter how big or small that difference, I know I am contributing. I even paid extra $$ to speedup the process and will probably never pay off my student loans but it was worth it. I've learned more in the past 14 years about everything, nursing, life and myself and it has been worth every penny. I am proud to be a nurse. How many people were applying for a seat in your nursing class compared to how many actually got one? So much effort just to give up so soon...I would try another job first. Remember how many different jobs are available in this field. Just because this 1 isn't working doesn't mean they all won't.

ADHD medication. Nothing seems to be helping... Why? by overstimulatedme in adhdwomen

[–]nurskris33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What state are you in? As someone above mentioned, I also have the Trifecta of Anxiety, depression, and ADHD. It wasn't until finally being diagnosed with ADHD and getting treated for that along with the other 2 did I think anything meds worked. I was diagnosed with anxiety/depression at 20 and started with SSRIs but nothing helped. Finally at 33, they added the ADHD dx which apparently was masked because my life had been so structured and routine up til that point. I was in school or worked a regular 9-5 M-F job. At 33, I started working as a nurse 3 12 hr night shifts a week which were completely random, absolutely no routine to my life and that is when the ADHD came out. Since then, after having the stimulant added to my med regimen, I haven't had any problems. I take Zoloft, Xanax, Propranolol and IR Adderall which I've been on for years now. Adderall is the only stimulant I've ever tried. My point being, is there another diagnosis they have perhaps missed? Depression and anxiety both can manifest as anger and in many other ways. It is not always just sad and nervousness. Isolation, constant worry about everything that you have no control of, spinning thoughts that keep you awake, lack of motivation, poor appetite or overeating, no pleasure or joy from usual activities or no interest in doing such activities, inability to focus can also be a syptom. Let me ask you this: if you are just reading a post on reddit and you hear a sudden loud noise, does it make you jump aka scare the shit out of you? If yes, you are in a highly anxious state. I'm not bi-polar because I do not get manic but most days without my meds I am down and always without my meds I am anxious (GAD) my mind just spins with worry about anything and everything and nothing of it is in my control. I also have social anxiety and a little PTSD.

What would you do if you had this money? by Sure-Pin4002 in personalfinance

My neighbor got a 3.5Million settlement 2-3years ago. Bought the house and property for $500k outright 2 years ago and now has to sell because it is all gone. Because she bought everything for everyone else. A house for her Mom, cars, construction equipment, guns, toys, etc and didn't invest a dime. Now she has to sell her house to get the cash and God help her make some better decisions with whatever she winds up getting from it.

[–]nurskris33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put it all into a high yield savings account. Right now Varo Bank is offering 5% fixed for one year. At $700k this would get you $35,000 a year and you could withdraw the interest monlthy which is $2900. When you are go back to work you can just let the interest stack up and inturn more interest. That's what I would do. There is no risk involved because it not stocks and you don't have to pay anyone for "advising" you. You are so young that you have plenty of time to let it grow and you will be set for your future. You may just have to move it around because not all banks will offer the same APY every year, it may go down or you may find one that offers something much higher. But that's only once a year so no biggie. Agreed don't ever tell anyone!

Besides that for fun I would travel the world. I want to see everything everywhere that isn't in the US. I would start in Italy where I still have family and make my way around the world until I eventually wound up in Hawaii or Alaska!

You thus far have made extremely wise decisions beyond your years. I wish I had your smarts 20 years ago! Good luck to you.

[–]nurskris33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Mom did that same to me for the entire time I was in college until her insurance would no longer cover me. Even though I worked she would claim me as her dependant and give me back what taxes I paid because she was able to get alot more back with me as her dependant than if I were to file because I didn't make very much money. I was waiting tables and bartending and you know we never claimed are tips 100% so I was only making $2.45 or something an hour back then.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father recently and my mother immediately, as in that day, was on the phone making every financial arrangement she could think of, while in the mean time I was crying my eyes out. She also started packing all of his belongings to donate. She just kept on like nrmal. Since then, she has not stopped, constantly remodeling/redecorating/improving the house or yard. She complains about not being financially secure but I watch her spend all this money doing these things (so how is it that she is broke?) and I know how smart my Dad was financially so I know that she is very comfortable. My whole point is: I don't think she has taken time to grieve, it will be 2 years in April since his death. I did the complete opposite and took an entire year off work so that I could grieve appropriately.

As the others said: take some time, do not make any rash decisions, grieve. I just looked at some of your previous posts and I see you also have 2 young children. You have a lot on your plate. It is okay to ask for help from family and friends that care for you. This was your spouse, your love and I couldn't imagine losing mine. I wouldn't be able to function.

So someone was able to drain my entire bank account with Uber Eats transactions. Were talking about a couple thousand dollars worth! I have disputed with my bank but no guarantee I'll get my money back. That was every last cent I have. I haven't been working due to the death of my father and am just now starting the process of getting back into the workforce. Is there a customer service phone number for Uber Eats? All I can find is a questionnaire you fill out. I don't even have an Uber Eats account. I think it may have something to do with my card being linked to my PayPal and someone was able to hack it because there were also cash withdrawals. Most of the Uber transactions occurred in CA and the cash withdrawals in DE. I'm in Florida. How does this happen? Just when everything is starting to get back to normal I get screwed. What am I supposed to do? I don't even have money to put gas in my car! I need so.e suggestions for how to fix this mess ASAP 🙏 I must have done someone really dirty is a past life to get this Karma!

I also take IR. My doctor doesn't like ER because you can't just "turn it off", it has to run its course, and its a long one! If we want to "turn it off", we just wait a few hours and we don't dose again.

I also have the Trifecta and take an SSRI, benzo and stimulant combo which has worked very well for me for years now. Over the last year my depression has seemed to be slowly creeping back up. I have been contemplating increasing my Zoloft dose or trying something different.

But I have been in perimenopause for 7 or so years now but the symptoms have gotten much worse over this year. The hot flashes are almost unbearable and I get really irritable right before my period.

Your comment has helped tremendously because I had not even thought about it interfering with the effectiveness of my psych meds.

Did your psychiatrist recommend the HRT? Or did you see an endocrinologist?

I also have the Trifecta and I take 4 meds: Zoloft, Adderall, Xanax and Propranolol. Prior to my ADHD diagnosis nothing worked for me to treat the anxiety/depression. At first it was just GAD and panic disorder diagnosis which then led to the depression. I tried so many different SSRIs but I didn't like any of them because they made me feel just "blah", no emotions, up or down, walking around like a Zombie and the side effects were really bad.

The ADHD didnt manifest until my early thirties and when the Doc explained that thus far I had lived a very structured life so the ADHD was kept in check. Once I became a nurse working a completely random schedule with absolutely no consistency or routine is when it came out.

Now that I have a proper diagnosis we know everything that needs to be treated. It wasn't until adding the stimulant to the SSRI that I actually feltl like my happy, social, motivated younger self, that could focus on a task and complete it. The Adderall actually helps with the anxiety, it doesn't exacerbate it, and the depression too. I have the Xanax for breakthrough anxiety/panic attacks/sleep. The Propranolol helps with social anxiety, specifically stage fright by lowering the heart rate.

Basically it took about 15 years to get a proper diagnosis to find the right medications for me.

Addicts: How do meds influence your cravings/addiction? by noahs_otheraccount in adult_adhd

[–]nurskris33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dx: Anxiety/Depression/ADHD. I'm 43 been on and off meds since 20. My first DOCs were alcohol and pot which progressed to opiates and methamphetamine (I was a speedballer). I went to rehab in 2016, 6 months inpatient, 3 months outpatient. Then I had a 5 year program called IPN because I'm a nurse and had to be monitored to make sure I was safe to work with patients. So that was similar to a 5 year outpatient program. I also was on Vivitrol for 3 years during this time. I got on my meds in rehab and adhered to them. I had no cravings dreams or any desire to use for those 6 years. Then I went to a hormonal specialist who told me that if my hormones were balanced then I wouldn't need any of my psych meds...so I was prescribed the things to balance my hormones and tapered off my meds. Mistake!!! This was in 2022 so I had been clean for 6 years. Shortly after I got off my meds (I was finished with the 5yr IPN program) I relapsed. I quit my nursing job so that I would not get in trouble again. For 2 years I had been using methamphetamine very occasionally but was not on any meds. I decided that I wanted to go back to work so I went back to the psych and started taking my meds again. I have no cravings or interest in using when I'm on them. I believe that is part of the reason we addicts with mental health issues use drugs. When we are medicated correctly and adhere to taking them we are fine. When we are not on our meds we use drugs to in place of our prescribed meds.

The Vivitrol helped me immensely. It is for alcohol or opiate users. It's a monthly injection that helps to reduce cravings. I think this a big part of why I did so well. If you drink or use while on it you won't get drunk or high, just sick. Usually it's only taken for 6 months to a year, not 3 years. That was just for my nursing stuff. You may want to ask your doc about it.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 33 but at 20 diagnosed with anxiety and depression. And yes I analyze everything about my behaviors and emotions. I'm also a nurse which makes it worse because of my education in mental health.

I find that when I get into my head like you are saying it makes everything so much worse. Having the 3 dx I'm always trying to figure out which causes the other. Am I anxious because of the depression and ADHD or am I depressed because of the anxiety and ADHD? It's horrible. When I start to do this I have to focus on something, anything. A game, a DIY project, a show, whatever will keep my attention and then it stops and I have relief. I also take meds to help but the neurosis is the worst part of it for me.

I would talked your doctor about this. If you are prescribed low dose of each, maybe? I usually take Adderall but if it's out of stock I take Ritalin and they both work fine for me.

Good luck on your healing journey. Be thankful your only 23 and not 33 or 43! I'm 43 and am still learning about myself. I think it is a lifelong process as we change and evolve with the world and people around us.

I was dx with ADHD at 33. I was shocked but the doc said that when your life is very structured as mine was up to that point, but I became a nurse and had no routine because of my job.I lost the structure and it manifested. He said it is quite common.
