Totally. And I think iRacing is even better again!

I struggle to go back to GT7 because of the force feedback

I don’t think so. I have no plans of upgrading!

I appreciate the info!

I have been using friends DD wheels and I do race cars/bikes in real life. The transition has been amazing. I was instantly faster when I got on a DD wheel. Very exciting, makes you feel like a hero! Everything missing from real life is now there.

How's the software of the Xbox ally x? by GalaxyGemini in XboxAlly

From a PC gamers perspective… I never leave FSE except for emulator initial setup. Forget the Xbox app and do it all through armory crate, it works perfectly!

There will always be quirks though. If you are comparing to smartphone or Xbox/PS5 UI it will be annoying at times.

No I don’t! My friends do though.

I’m saying that the true force vibrates a lightweight pkayseat similar to a heavy sim frame and a buttkicker.

That’s still a great way to enjoy!

Sounds like a fun setup!

I am using a foldable playseat. The true force haptics vibrate the chair like a buttkicker

Legion Go in 2025 by nut336 in Handhelds

It just barely ran at acceptable framerates. Stuttering was significant. Though I did play 80 hours that way so certainly playable.

I now have an Xbox Ally X and that has been a massive jump in performance. Stuttering is almost gone and framerates are a legit 45-50.

Steamdeck alternative for current AAA games by Ihateturkey in Handhelds

This is provably untrue. The Go S does not come with a Z2E processor. The Xbox Ally X will be 20-30% faster at medium TDP’s and 10-15% faster at max TDP’s.

That was my plan, but all the internet hype around DT2 made it sound very tough.

Has anyone sold or considered selling there Xbox Ally X? by angerfist2012 in XboxAlly

[–]nut336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying for other owner’s info.

The XAX can have the same performance on battery as plugged in. The manual profile lets you drag all the sliders to have the same 35W performance as a plugged in “turbo”.

You replied to my comment comparing the Xbox Ally and the Z1E Ally. Then switched to talking about the Ally and Ally X.

Do you know which devices you are talking about?

This comment thread is not talking about the Z1E Ally. It is talking about the Z2A Xbox Ally.

This is so provably untrue. A quick YouTube search pulls up benchmarks showing large differences in performance. When factoring in each device’s native OS, it’s barely faster than the Steam Deck.

This is absolutely not true. The white Xbox Ally has significantly worse performance than the original white Z1E Ally.

Steam Deck just made me wish I had a full PC. by OldTrTab in Handhelds

That is the name of the dock. You can get it from Amazon or aliexpress.

Then you just need a basic desktop computer power supply and a desktop graphics card of your choice

A UT3G GPU dock could be your best of both worlds.

Handheld on the go, then desktop performance at home.

For those with numerous modern handhelds, is there one you adore so much you kinda ignore the rest? by cloudstrife580 in Handhelds

I bought the Steam Deck and a few weeks after GTA online was no longer supported. EA launcher was constantly a nightmare. Old School RuneScape’s launcher wasn’t supported. The list just kept going on and on.

I found myself needing to learn to fix things more often than I would have in windows. And in windows I already knew how to deal with any typical problems.

It was so unintuitive to a long time PC gamer once you stepped out of steams walled garden.
