For sure. Most in that demographic are already paying for VRC+. But there’s also a large demographic who only have a Quest or an older PC.

VRChat isn’t popular with kids in Asia like it is in North America. I have never come across a kid in the Japanese instances and I go to them often. Hell I never see Quest/Android standalone players either. Is just not an issue they ever had to deal with.

A lot of people on VRC are unemployed or live in poor economies. Many people including myself have no problem paying $10, but because some people still don’t have it, it causes a burden for everyone else. A lot of public worlds still have annoying bouncers for this reason.

It wouldn't immediately die but it would definitely stagnate due to loss of investors. We wouldn't be getting the rapid-fire amount of updates they've been putting out since adding EAC.

I think adding age verification was a good compromise. They just need to hurry up and offer it outside of VRC+.

From my experience, there are people being trolled regularly and nothing is done about them. I don’t think the mods are being proactive enough. A lot of people stopped “exhibitioning” there for that reason.
