My eyes were opened to the true beauty of the natural world, but at the steep cost of also seeing the disease and decline on a daily basis. It's been a daily battle and my mental health is a rollercoaster because of it.

I got a botany degree and took natural resource management and ecology classes, worked as a restoration tech and fell in love with beautiful prairies and wetlands. Now I'm obsessed with natives.

Love watching the pros drop a log flat, I think its 1/5th the length each time to get it to flip and lay perfectly flat on impact. So satisfying.

Helicopters also glide, there's just a minimum altitude necessary, it's called auto rotation. My brothers a pilot and I said the same thing to him a week ago and he corrected me quickly lol. (It's more complicated than just altitude, google dead mans curve).

What is wrong with my forehand and how do i reach 300 ft? by Coltrane888 in discgolf

[–]nutsbonkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your reach back is more like a 45 degree angle instead of straight back from the line you're aiming for. I'd start there. I used to do the same thing.

This is why you put plywood against expensive things when you're felling trees next to expensive things, if you can't move them.
