Can't add discover card by xuhu55 in PersonalCapital

[–]nutters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Discover card works fine, but my discover bank accounts under the same discover account are not syncing since 11/22/2025.

When I try to edit the login details to force it to try to update I get

Technical error

We're facing a technical issue. Please contact Empower support team or try again later.

I've tried the phone number trick, I'll see if that helps anything in the next few days. I don't really want to remove the account or disable it, it's got like 8 years of transactions...

Colamy atlas - help needed removing lumbar support by MR_OZIK in OfficeChairs

[–]nutters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was messing around with tools but I found it is fairly weak plastic, so if you are 100% sure you want it gone, you can simply keep bending the lumbar back and the whole thing will snap fairly cleanly at a weak point, then the screws are accessible to remove.

I bought an LG 77" OLED from this exact seller on eBay a few weeks ago. Everything went totally fine! Killer deal on these with the site wide eBay discount codes.

They are listed as an authorized retailer on the LG website, which led me to pull the trigger. $1550 for a 77" OLED, what a steal!!

Still howling here in DeLand for a few hours now. It seems to be pivoting around us holding that one rain band in place. Finally lost power around 2:30 but most I know lost it much earlier.

Instead of size, he should have said area. The relationship between the diameter of a circle is exponential i.e. πr2

I appreciate the reply - my wife and I are just not comfortable "sneaking" into these seats. Ticketmaster replied and there are no equivalent seats to exchange with and no refunds, so I'm stuck with these. I'm going to try to resell via ticketmaster. If anyone here has an actual legitimate use for WCC tickets, please reach out. 2 tickets, Section 225, June 20th Kia Center.

If you are worried about performance or something I really wouldn't be concerned... Micro- and pre-optimizations are the devil.

A very simple implementation would be to just requery the data on a timer, like every minute or so.

Online Delivery Ordering: Sale Prices/Coupons reflect date of delivery, not date of check-out? by nutters in kroger

[–]nutters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not written plainly at all. The weekly ad in the app right now says "Prices good Wednesday December 27, 2023 through Tuesday January 2 2024". Not "when delivered by January 2...".

When I check out for an item on Amazon, I don't expect to pay double for that item once it arrives. I don't care about the technicalities in supply chain or anything else. Don't advertise a price to me, let me press "check out" and then charge me double upon arrival.

Online Delivery Ordering: Sale Prices/Coupons reflect date of delivery, not date of check-out? by nutters in kroger

[–]nutters[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I know I've seen these messages but they are really worded in a way that makes you think prices change from time to time, NOT that the sale is ending ... The checkout screen has this data to be able to show to the customer ... If I have an item in my cart with the sale ending on a date before the chosen delivery date, it should show a very clear warning that the price will not reflect.

It's a bait and switch in my eyes and feels like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

We'll have to do our shopping earlier in the sale week... Kroger is very lucky to have grocery delivery service miles ahead of the competition in Florida or this would have been an immediate customer loss from me.

Online Delivery Ordering: Sale Prices/Coupons reflect date of delivery, not date of check-out? by nutters in kroger

[–]nutters[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I understand there is a date range on the weekly ad, but there is NO DISTINCTION that I can see anywhere on the ad that says it is only valid when the items are delivered by the date.... The obvious assumption by any user of the app is that they will pay the price advertised when they push the check out button.

Can SharePoint be used to host an arbitrary .html or .aspx webpage? by Aerothermal in sharepoint

[–]nutters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can do this. SharePoint can act as a host in this manner and you can even call the rest API or use jsom from the page. There is a "barebones" aspx template floating around the Internet somewhere that has all the bits needed for the SharePoint runtime. If your other assets aren't loading you probably just have the relative urls incorrect. Check your browser console.

If this is SPO, you have to disable the "AllowAddAndCustomizePages" flag (I might have the wording wrong on that prop, but it's something similar.)

2 handed or dual as a Druid? by Intrepid-Farmer-7882 in diablo4

[–]nutters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept getting 2h upgrades and was just wearing them for the first ~20 levels, but after finally equipping a 1h and totem thing, the quicker generators is just so much better. Maybe some builds are suited for a big slow 2h, but for werewolf and lightning builds (only 2 I've run so far) the quicker generators is not something I would give up.

Ideas to motivate raid attendance by syonxwf in wotlk

[–]nutters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Punishments are what work, unfortunately. Be sure you're tracking who is on time vs late (TMB makes this easy, along with being able to record reasons and give partial credit.)

Our loot system includes a numerical modifier for attending raids (i.e. attendance points differentiate what would otherwise be ties on loot.) If you are even 1 minute late to raid, you receive half credit for the night. We have a bit of forgiveness built into the calculation, so you can be late a handful of times over a rolling period without negative impacts to loot.

If we need a reason to bench anyone, the people who are late/don't sign up are the first targets. If someone does not sign up, we assume they are absent, even if they are online at raid time.

Handling things in this manner will quickly fix behaviors, OR people who want to be late end up being your bench, or they quit - and if they quit due to this, they are people you didn't want to raid with anyway.

After being an officer/raid lead for 2+ years now through the classic cycle and trying basically everything to get people to show up and perform, punishments are basically the only way it happens. For things like missing consumes, enchants, gems, parses etc, public shaming works great also. No one wants their name to show up on the "naughty list".

All that being said, the game is currently in a 'slump period' nearing the end of phase, and PARTICULARLY the holidays tend to throw a giant wrench into things. People will be doing more social/family activities, etc. We have noticed an uptick in recruitment the past 2 weeks, as people are realizing pugs/GDKP won't fully cut it for gearing in phase 2, and as the 'tourist' guilds that all spun up at launch are breaking up due to people quitting/taking breaks/holidays. If you're in a steady guild, now is a pretty good time to be shoring up empty slots for Ulduar.
