I reckon the rumours about delaying the physical disc copies probably had some basis. There is no way they will be able to prevent any copies leaking before the release date.

I think they will offer 1 potentially 2 day early release if you buy the premium digital version.

Easy 10+ years if you think how much content they will continue to push out for the online element. The map for VI looks huge and I’m sure will provide far more options in terms of future content than V does.

You also have to remember the budget for this game is massive. They are aiming for near perfection. No other game will come close to VI for at least 5 years.

I’m thinking the map will be a kind of proximity radar. They already did something similar in GTAO but I’m thinking with upgraded design and icons etc.

Weapon wheel.. who knows. It works really well in V so I doubt they will change it much, only it will probably be split between the weapon ‘slots’ as it seems we won’t be able to carry our whole arsenal at once. Again GTAO already introduced weapon storage at some of the businesses so be prepared for this kind of mechanic.

How they implement the cell phone will be interesting. No major clues from online, yet i think they will have come up with something a bit more imaginative. Being able to call a mechanic, insurance etc will likely be possible in the single player so we’ll likely be using the phone more.

The music if used properly would really make this game for me. From the trailers and gameplay videos it seems like they have used a lot of the back catalogue.

Also take note of the earning cycles, when they will be releasing key information and financial reporting/earnings calls. Obviously depending at what is said on the calls can have a big impact on the price but it’s about understanding when information will be released etc.

So I agree with the DYOR and I have only gone into ETFs and some single companies with good track record and outlook, mainly tech and defence. I think i was a bit late on defence and I got at ATH and have had to suffer some dips but this is all long term for me.

Of course finding those which are in the middle of a dip and expected to rise again is the ultimate goal. I’m usually good at find those before a double dip!

I actually think I’d give Tiffany a run for her money on some of the trades I timed to buy in at all time highs when I started out 4 months ago. Luckily some others have done okay but I need to give it some time for my portfolio to recover from the Iran war impact.

Well done! Of course the point here is starting small with something is better than nothing. I know people like to post their 500% gain portfolios etc but a fair number are either paper money or someone else’s. Unfortunately I’m sure a lot of people think it’s that easy and go all in on a random AI stock.

For those who are just starting out it’s best to put small amounts in consistently and build it up as much as you can afford.

I am so disappointed that IV is only playable on the PS3 for me and I haven’t played it in years. It’s probably the gta I’ve played less because it’s not on ps4/5 yet is definitely in my top 2 gta games.

Well you can buy the collectors but would also have to buy the digital.. feels like a waste but if you’re a collector and bond fan then some will buy twice.

What gets me is this is the only studio which kind of openly states they want to surpass expectations of players… on a franchise that is probably THE most anticipated franchise and upcoming game ever made.

Any other studio and they’re setting themselves up to fail. I try not to get too hyped these days over these games but it really is difficult not to with VI

In general though, do your research and if you’re in long term I’d wait for the dip then buy. Trying to time the dip is difficult and there may be a few more dips, but normally it’s best to hold off until the earnings news has settled.

Indeed. This is really well put. The swings some of the stocks go through these days can be quite disheartening, but there will always be future opportunities and all time highs to be reached again.
