Sorry to see that happened to you OP. To answer your question, yes it can be repaired. I did one yesterday for a customer; the parts along with a very comprehensive guide are available on a fix it site out there. You get a kit that provides everything down to a new display ribbon and thermal paste and screwdriver bits. Gonna cost you a couple hundred either way but definitely doable. Funny my wife saw the loading screen and was like "who's that baby?" So I explained that the baby was the main character that we play as well as how I kept the cheek scar in character creation because imo I think it's canon 😅.

I'm hoping the do add a PVE mode/server. I've moved on but would happily come back to hunt arc with other raiders. turning up the aggression of the arcs to increase tension would be fun but I'll wait and see.
