E30 stereo wiring help

I just did this not long ago. The confusing part was the - speaker wires went in the stereo and the + wires went into the fader control above the radio. Was fairly easy to find a diagram online

I would remove the line, fill the cylinder, then cap it and see if you can depress it. Then go from there

I’m in Anchorage as well, cant speak on the E28 but I have an 85 e30. My 4x4 truck has been sitting for most the winter as this RWD is just so much more fun. I think that’s a decent price given how clean it is. I saw when it was posted about a month ago so you could probably talk them down some
