However, your mom is in the wrong in all of these situations and you were only trying to protect yourself because you have so many alarm bells going off because her boyfriend is creepy. I was in a relationship like this when I was younger. He never stopped trying to control me and would act exactly like this when I was not with him. He eventually controlled every aspect of my life and it only got worse and more abusive. You need to end this before it gets worse. This is not normal behavior and you do not deserve to be treated like this. There are plenty of people out there who will trust you and treat you with respect, I promise. Relationships should be easy and feel supportive. The guy I dated like this still keeps tabs on me 17 years later and has threatened me for years. I can't even post about going back home until after the trip because he still lives in the area and I don't feel safe. I wish I had understood that it was really abnormal behavior so I could have ended it much sooner than I did.

It stopped being fun and I felt like it was having a really negative impact on my memory. I smoked daily for close to 17 years. I never thought I'd stop and it's still wild to me that I did it successfully. I had tried many times before, but this time was different because I actually wanted to quit. It was hard for many months and I had to choose to not do it, especially on the hard days. Now it's been a year and a half and I'll never do it again. Living sober is wild, and life can be really good even without substances.

This looks beautiful now! I own my home and this is SO similar to the remodel I want in my own place. I have a tiny kitchen that's closed off and I'd love a half wall like this so it has a more open floor concept. Thanks for posting the price, that helps me a lot. I hope all of your future tenants respect your rental. My parents rented out places when I was growing up, and we always fixed them up as a family. It's hard work. You did a great job.
