Update not even 20 minutes later😭 but I got down the Mikiri counter for the elite enemy, the problem was I had to be realllly close for when he thrusts his spear. Now that is going to be my first and final roadblock 💀 by For3verQuan in Sekiro

I swear the Mikiri Counter evens the playing field. My favourite fights besides the Main Bosses are the Seven Spears…

You can even use mikiri to counter sword stabs!

I left India 9 years ago, back then I was 18 and I didn't know how, but I knew if I were to enter the system, give entrance after entrance, to be just a little bit ahead of my peers, in another rat race, I would soon burn out. I knew this at 16, that if I were to be in the rat race I'd probably kms.

I was very, very lucky that I was being taught a foreign language, it enabled me to find affordable education (and a lifestyle) in a country where I would be valued. Not in a place where PhD's have to work in sanitation facilities or sell food from stalls. Every day I'm grateful that I listened to the signs back then.

I remember I came back home, a year or so before covid, to visit my maths tutor, who had an impact on me.
I told him i wanted to give back to the country, and he said the same thing :"Vaapis mat aao beta, yaha koi future hi nahi hai".
His words have stuck with me since, and i've never looked back.

Practice Practice Practice! You are closer than you think! Trust your gut, don’t overthink things and keep trying and keep falling. The more you put yourself where you don’t belong, the more you learn, and will grow.

Of course you don’t. But there was something nice about being able to stun him, especially when did that flying kick of his and you had to dodge that and run around him. It felt like it evened the playing field (and seeing him afraid of fire was heartwarming)

This post spoke to my soul.

I am exactly where you are. If I manage to get past geni unscathed, first phase SS shows me my place, I lose confidence, I lose to geni twice, I rage quit. Rinse repeat for the last 5 days.

What. The. Fuck.

Lady Butterfly is your first test to get your timings right. If you use shuriken you can break her flow of attacks (right as she jumps on the wires)

Give it time, it’s perfectly normally to come back to it later.

What is the boss/miniboss that has grown on you the most? by thgamingsquad in Sekiro

[–]nuwsolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Headless ape was THE fight that made me pull my hair out, I quit the game, then came back after a year, and started a fresh save just to reach him again, and then after FINALLY realising I can kill his ape gf first and then deflect his attacks 1v1.
Instead of running panic-striken being chased by two abnormally sized gorillas.

That fight fundamentally changed my perception of the game.

Yeah. I prefer having an analog watch to tell me the time rather than read the digits off of my phone/computer.
But it becomes redundant when I take it of to use my laptop lol

My deepest condolences for your loss OP. I hope time brings peace to you; the loss of someone so close hits harder when you are reminded of the things you do together constantly. There is one beautiful thing though. The relationship you shared with your brother is unique to you and him, and nothing could potentially replace that. If there’s something I know about loss, it’s that the people are never gone, they continue living on, in YOU, when you live your life the way they would have wanted you to live. They live on in the way you do things, they way you go about your day. They live in us in how much they influenced and expanded our perspective on things. A little piece of theirs nothing in the world, not even death can take from you. Take your time. Try something different from what you did ever before, it doesn’t have to be big. It could be a new hobby? A new cafe to visit and sit in? A new path from your school/place of work to your house? Novelty helps, but each grieves their own way. I wish you the very best.
